See, in the scenario above, you've not only successfully made sure he won't care if you date "Susie" in the future, you should also get a econd hand opinion of her potential vaginal health.
If her breath stinks tell her to close her legs.

Dino, you forgot if you do not seek approval and they're still together, to at least have "Secret Lovers" as your ringtone.

AIDS. Rub some dirt on it and you'll be fine, though.

You're probably correct Bass, but in my defense when I pulled off that move it was in my pre-cell phone days.

What is the correct manner to handle someone who waits 10 minutes for an elevator only to go up one floor, slowing down your overall transit time? Is it just an angry look or should words be exchanged?

Thanks F-d and gang
Serious question here:
You have gained knowledge that a coworker is about to be fired. You are friendly with the guy. Appropriate to tell him or play dumb?

Jules, in that situation, it's easier to rip one (especially if it's a crowded elevator) and blame it on the lazy person. You've effectively broken one law of etiquette and gotten everyone on your side as a result.

Does the person work at the hospital or are the a patient/visitor. B/c in the later case I assume they don't know where the stairs are located.
In the former case an obnoxious sigh usually gets the point across.

FD - why do airplanes fly?
Soul Furnaces. Basically, each engine is powered by the souls of mystical creatures that are able to defy gravity (fly). These soulds are harvested and processed in the belly of the jet in the Soul Furnace.
They typically use Birds, Bats, and butterflies, but they'll burn Superheroes or Pixies if they can get their hands on them (higher octane)

How friendly? Someone you just chat with at work, or someone that you consider to be a friend.

KB, we have gone out drinking a few times but I don't know if I'd call him one of my friends. He's a good guy though and we have a nice relationship.

f-d, my girlfriend doesn't understand that men are wanderers, and need sleep with as many women as possible to spread their seed.
In other words, do I tell her I'm sleeping with every woman in her family?

Man, that's a tough one. I might tell the guy. But he has to understand he can't eff you over in the process, that you're doing him a favor. I would do that for a couple guys here.

Yeah, I'm not sure how to bring it up or where to bring it up. It's tough to lay that on someone especially around this time of year.

Yeah, this is the time of year 30 of us were told we were laid off. I'd rather I was told by a buddy, though, and not some HR bitch who called and said "KB, can you come to my office. I'm working on a special project and wanted your thoughts".
Also, I'm not sure what the guy is like, but it may be better for him to hear it and have time to cool down, then to just hear it at work.

No. The most important thing in a meaningful, long term relationshop is keeping that spark alive with a little bit of mystery.
You should drop ominous hints that you might/i> be banging all the women in her family, but never actually "tell" her or "admit" to it.

NEAG, if you're just friendly with the guy, play dumb. you don't want to start a whole chain reaction of unforeseen events that may very well negatively affect you.
plus, i dont know how telling him early is really going to help him (except get a jump start on the job hunt). hell, HR may change their mind between now and then.
unless he tells you he's about to put down a down payment on a yacht, i'd play it cool.
in fact, i'd stay away from the guy altogether. bad mojo.

I occasionally chaperone my 12 year old cousin's field trips and parties. Should I stop deliberatly embarrasing him by doing Austin Powers impressions and other out of date things?
