Wondered if anyone had heard anything about this. Notably, the stuff that's coming out that had nothing to do with the game.
Guess what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas unless you're an NBA player.

You mean the 400 arrests and 4 shootings that were directly related to the NBA All Star weekend?
The NBA brain trust might have thought about a more family oriented environment to have their All Star weekend.

I guess, section. I've been hearing about it in snippets, but I can't find anything concrete. The only thing I found was Jason Whitlock comparing it to Atlanta's "Freaknik".
That David Stern. Freakin' brilliant.

I think that's how I'd look if I was defeated by Obi-Wan and left to die on a lava planet.

300 Arrested During NBA All-Star Weekend
NBA All-Star Game Bring Vegas Many Visitors, Many Arrests
I LOVE THIS GAME!
LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas police reported a high number of arrests over NBA All-Star weekend.
Nearly 300 people involved in NBA-related festivities were booked into the Clark County Detention Center between Thursday and Sunday. And that doesn't include the approximately 400 routine arrests police make in a 48-hour period.
Police say the arrests ranged from outstanding warrants to charges of trespassing, battery, burglary, loitering and disorderly conduct.

In all fairness, there were only 300 people at the hockey game. And the NBA game WAS in LAS VEGAS! What do you expect in a town where booze, hookers and $$$ float from the sky???

I have to agree with Fred. Why should we hold these people acountable for thier actions? It was probably "the city's fault".

Do you actually think those involved are going to stand up and admit their actions were inappropriate? That would be like Freddie admitting he is in fact dumb as a doorknob, instead of being the self proclaimed genius he is!
