That's because it IS Friday for me. Happy hour begins in less than 36 minutes.

That's right. Time to hit the pub, watch the games, down a few, and Rumble-rant on the evils of the Clinton family and the truth behind the farce that is "global warming".
In fact I'll bet that where you glean all your wonderful insights from- all your "anti-genius" buds down at the local hole.

So, by default, you apparently like leaders that do NOT take a stand or have a point of view. Well, that's pretty good too.
GGB, you know after reading this part of the thread, dealing with making a stand or not I had a thought... (I know it scared me too)
In all honestly it almost serves a President better not to make a firm stand... I mean look at a few that were discussed here;
a) Libby and his stand on when or what he said
b) Billy with his cigar
c)Bush/Cheney's stand on WMD's
all were "solid stands" and what did it get them, nothing but trouble... I mean when a public figure like any of them or others we beaten up on in this thread makes a statement they are stuck with it... No matter what even if they realize they have made a mistake they can't change what they have said, or they are branded a flip-flopper or wishy-washy... so I actually understand and accept that from now on most "intelligent" politicians will do their best to avoid making that "statement"
Although it would be refreshing for a President to actually come out and say after hearing both sides of an issue I've changed my stance... (and not because the public opinion helps them change their minds)

that's the ideal that i think everyone in this thread would agree on.
