Yeah I heard that this morning.

That was unreal.

It's going to make 30 Rock that much funnier.

Since Alec Baldwin makes his money being a sarcastic a-hole, I love the fact that his numbnut wife leaked this in an effort to embarrass him.

I can't stand Alec Baldwin, but it really doesn't sound like him on that tape. I hope for his daughters sake, that its a fake. Either way, he's a piece of shit.

Somebody needs to give this guy and ass whooping, and then blame it on a "tough" couple of years as their own excuse....

How do we know his assessment of his daughter isn't spot on?

I've seen some spoiled brats that need an ass-kickin' to go along with that type of berating. Just watch any episode of "My Super Sweet 16" on MTV.

I can almost imagine him being the father should she complain that the car he gave her for her 16th birthday isn't the right color.

Well, she's 11 years old and a daughter of Kim Basinger. I think we ought to at least wait till we see her in a provocative pose before we pass any harsh judgements.

One of our own Levelers (maybe former leveler, I don't know), had very similar words about his own daughter at a 'gate few years back...

I'm not making excuses for Alec Baldwin but anyone who has gone through a custody case is entitled to snap every once in awhile.

And his case has been going on for 6 years.

He also has been jerked around by his ex wife and now he probably feels his daughter has been brainwashed by her mother because she is not answering his phone calls and ignoring him.

His behavior was certainly over the top but I can sympathize what he is going through.

I've been going through a custody case for 2 years. It's painful and very expensive. I'm actually lucky though because right now I have temporary custody of my son.

Baldwin on the other hand is in New York and his kid is in Cali.

Tough situation to be in either way but the distance dosen't make it any easier.

And not for nothing but maybe his daughter is a spoiled little pig.

It also sickens me how certain women / men will use their kids as pawns to get what they want.

In the end the kids ends up being hurt the most by the hate and anger coming from the so called parents.

A friend used to work at a theater in New York where Baldwin was in two different shows. She said the general consensus was that the guy is certifiably insane.

During one show, his prop glasses were smudged. Instead of using the opportunity to create a little piece of stage business by cleaning off the glasses in character (like people do in real life every day), he acted like a wounded animal on stage. When he finally exited, he chased down the prop person, screamed at her, and then punched a hole in the wall. He terrorized most of the cast to such a degree that some of them had to bring in the union to get the equivalent of a restraining order against him. I know the lead actress was scared half to death of him and it wound up being a big story in the local tabloids.

He also used to freak out if the show was not sold out. Every day he would run up to the box office and ask if it was a sell-out. When the box office person would tell him that there were five or six seats left, he would pace around the lobby screaming, "These New York audiences! WHAT DO THEY WANT?!?!"

The first day he worked there, his agent hired people to pose as groupies waiting for him on his way into rehearsal. Apparently desperate for attention, Billy tagged along, too.

That being said, the guy was hilarious in both shows, and if past whackjob comics are any indication, there seems to be some link between insanity and comic timing.
