Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

I've been getting them a ton, too. I'm not one to complain, but if it helps with troubleshooting at all, I get them about 50% or more of the times I try to load a page.

The level has been at an all time worst for weeks now. The only way I can get to threads recently is by entering the thread address directly. The links have become useless.

When I saw Uber a couple of weeks ago, he said there's a plan in place to eliminate or vastly reduce the number of these errors.

I just keep hitting F5 and I usually get in after the second or third refresh.

How dare you question the GOLD STANDARD of Eagles fan sites!
Runtime Errors suck... no doubt.
The intent is to try to minimize them in the new site.
The new design was scheduled to roll out at the beginning of the season, but things came up on the development end. I was hoping to have the new site launch during the bye but we've experienced some more delays.
I apologize for the lags and the errors.
Hang in there guys the new site should hopefully be up around mid-season.
I can, however, promise you the new site will launch before the Eagles win the Super Bowl.

It's due to the 70% passtime 30% runtime ratio

You may be on to something with the 7/3 ratio. My first indication that something was out of hand was when I realized that I used to be able to submit 7 posts to every 3 brewskis I drank, now, ... you guessed it, ... I apparently have a runtime error problem.

Oh, ... and Johnny, thanks for the explanation but I'm afraid you forgot to clear your throat and state that it's your job to fix that.
The apology was a nice touch though.

YES!!!, … FINALLY, … a new “personal best” of hitting the refresh button 27 times before viewing a page! (Smashed the old record of 13 consecutive runtime errors!!)
OH YEA, … WHO’S THE MAN???
(Post was meant to be submitted yesterday afternoon. Obviously, I never got on.)

Is it just me, or does one feel just the slightest bit retarded repeating the same action only to receive the same non-result?
Sort of like Rain Man on replay

I'll step up and apologize for these. The site is currently running about 100% pure Uber-code. It was fine for a few years ago when we released this site (it was released about two weeks early to defend against SQL injection attacks, so feel free to thank eaglegurl for the small part he played in the runtime errors), but traffic to the site has increased by about 500% since then and the code, database, and server aren't equipped to handle the new load. I was scheduled to do the rewrite, but I've been so busy this past year that I don't have time. The guy who IS doing the rewrite is very talented and I explained to him the cause of the runtime errors so I'm sure he'll address it and it will stay addressed.

Yep, it’s just you Fred. It’s always about you.
It’s called stubbornness.
So go eff yourself sometime today between runtime errors.

FB, a’hem, … sniveling FB, unless you’re an iced cold Silver Bullet waiting for me after work you haven’t a thing to worry about. Suck it up, and try real hard to keep your retard, psycho, race card victim comments to a minimum and you’ll be alright.
