Doesn't matter to me what they do from here on out. I thought for sure they'd fall short again. Glad to be proven wrong. Anything they do now is gravy.
I believe.

Shortening up this pitching staff changes the complexion of the team a bit.
Enjoy the view from the end of the bench, Adam.

If Eaton touches a baseball, I'll break Manuel's face.
Here's hoping Charlie uses what little brains he has to move to a 3 man rotation, unlike Fregosi who refused to put Tommy Greene down in the bullpen so we wouldn't have to have seen Mitch give up the Joe Carter homer.
Who, me, bitter? Nah. Just 'cuz I had a 35-1 bet down in Vegas before the '93 season on the Phils going all the way.
Had half a mind to mail that betting stub to Fregosi with a bill attached to it.

Eaton won't be starting again this year.
At this point I think I'd rather see the Phillies play SD.

I am still fkn speechless that this team won the division crown yesterday. Too dramatic, too epic for words.
Watchin the Eagles game last night I really didn't care at all what happened. FUCK THE EAGLES.
Would definitely rather play SD in round 1. Hamels to start game 1!!
Can. Not. Wait.

So I'll admit, I was completely misty-eyed yesterday.
Yeah, the obvious stuff about hardly every seeing this and everything, but seeing and hearing how happy and excited Harry was as the day was unfolding really made me remember why I started watching these guys in the first place (forced to by Uncle Ed)

Kalas did a masterful job in that 9th inning. Enhanced the experience as much as humanly possible.

I was really, really happy for Harry Kalas. "The fans are on their feet, and I'm gonna stand too"
Burrell appeared to get misty eyed when talking about Vuke post game.

I can't find it on youtube, but it was in the lockerroom right after the game, and Wheeler starts talking about Moyer growing up here and going to the parade in 1980.
Moyer got really choked up, he had his son with him, and he was crying a bit as he was saying how special this was for him.

Hmmmm. I saw that last night too, KB, but it did not involve tears when I saw it. He just said that he skipped school to go to the parade in 1980 but maybe this time he'll be riding on the floats instead of watching.

Well, he gave like 30 interviews about it, so we may have seen different ones. He definitely cried in the one I saw, it made him Mrs. KB's favorite player

There is a "Mrs. KB"? Or is that just a colloquialism?

speaking of moyer, can't say enough about the job he did yesterday when its pretty obvious he has just about nothing left in the tank (80 mph fastballs to major league hitters?!)
great day for him and his family...

Thanks for posting that 9th inning KB. After walking out of the ballpark Saturday certain that the Phils were going to come up short again, I come home to watch the game on the package with the Nats feed. Awesome.
Thank God for youtube! That 9th inning makes for some great TV. Home crowd, simultaneous Mets 9th inning. Just a great six minute clip.
