The wheel that goes around here is, some folks will believe that it's all some giant plan to make up a reason he died other than what the medical examiner said. They will find fault with the police, courts, DA or anyone else in a position of authority.
THe other half of us believe the kid probably provoked the officers to subdue him. Did he deserve a 30 minute beating(when I looked at the video, it looked like he was just being held down, and not really getting a constant beating as worded). I believe the medical examiner, because I believe people with no character issues, over people with criminal and character issues.

And when those stories make the news FB, I react accordingly.
I just find it odd, given the liberal media, that more of those cases aren't found and held up for days on end.
Surely if there were an abundance, it'd be made known (over and over and over again- and rightfully so).
Rodney King had it comin, thats my take, so if you disagree then we have little chance on a common ground here.
Do as your told, and you wont get your grill bashed in by a bunch of power hungry motards.

Fred, you need to hit the books before you come out guns blazing like this.
In my defense F-D, I did concede to Zak that I didn't have all the facts and would wait to pass final judgement. But the way the story is presented is highly prejudical (at least in my case) but I do have enough sense not to jump off the deep end.
I just have LOTS of questions, is all.
Not both guns blazing, though.

It's so funny to watch "COPS" and EVERY time a black guy runs from the cops, whether they are black or white, when they get caught the cops always ask "Why did you run?" and the crook always says "Because I'm scared of the Police". As I'm sure it had nothing to do with the stolen car you were selling drugs out of.

Unlike white people, black people have a reason to be scared of the police.
The reason?
Because they're black.
Whether they're guilty as fuck, or innocent as a newborn.
It's a shame you'll never truly understand that.

That's fair.
When I see a story like this, I naturally err on the side of law enforcement over the people who forced those people to enforce the law.
That's were we differ, I think.
When I see someone was shot by a cop, my reaction is "What did the guy do to force that cop to shoot him?" and you seem to react int he opposite way...assuming the criminal was a victim of overzealous cops going too far.
Each case rises and falls on its own merits (God knows many cops are douchebags at heart), but I never assume the guilty are victims off the bat and I have a hard time feeling bad for them even when they are.

Seriously, the only black folks who aren't scared of police are the rich ones. That's why you see these atheletes going buck wild at traffic stops and outside of clubs when police show up.

IMS. You can say hogwash all you want, but deep down, in general there is a deep seated fear of the white police from black men. It stems from history, dude. Maybe not as prevalant today, but there is a history of black men being mistreated because of the color of their skin. Or is that "hogwash" too?

to me is just a complete and utterly false. If that is truly how you feel, then I almost feel sad for you. I think it's also a slap to every cop who puts there life on the line for you every day. THere is always going to be some bad apples, but no where near what you think.

Those guys sound guilty as fuck.
Still, I choose to see it as a cautionary tale.
Male stripper leaves wife and child at home while he goes to "work".
After he strips for a few ladies at a party, he decides to go out for drinks with two of them.
At the end of the night, he's beaten to oblivion.
Now, he may not have deserved it, but I bet he's unlikely to cheat on his wife again any time soon.
