I've only been back on Comcast for about 5 months, but my service has been okay.

As far as customer service goes, I've never had worse experiences than with Verizon. Verizon wireless, phone, Internet...never have a good time dealing with those guys.

I think comparing customer service for most of these companies is a joke, though. I can;t remember the last time one of the big companies actually gave me what I would consider "good" customer service.

f-d, just an FYI if you decide to look into DirectTV then you might want to also check into Hughes net, supposedly high speed satelite internet, I've been seeing the commercials for months and they are very similar to and perhaps run off the same satelite signal as DirectTV. The reason I say that is because when I spoke to a cust service rep I asked about the need for the dish having to have a clear view of the southern sky, then told her that I have directTV and was the direction needed similar and she said it's exactly the same. (Don't think they are related to the point that a disscount for having both togther off the same satelite) not sure how it works because I am still doing some research on it, just started looking into this option. but if I do make the move I'll let you know how things run, since you've got until July before you make a change.
