Yeah I remember hearing the Obama remark too. The thing is, is he saying something that a lot of people are thinking, but have the sense not to say it? I think so.

It's not PC, but it's true. It's time for people to stop making everything look like roses, when in fact it looks like shit.
This doesn't mean it has to be a white/black thing. But people don't need to pretend that there isn't a problem in DC either. When did it go from someone pointing out the truth about a specific situation(not a generalization) to automatically being racist because you point out the obvious?
We will never move forward if we can't even be truthful. Just because the truth can hurt, doesn't mean we should hide from it.

I don't think anyone really forgot about this, but when Biden made his return to the national stage again, it was as Obama's VP.
It's one of those situations where the person who should be offended (if anyone) is Obama. If Obama doesn't have any problem with him, why should anyone else?
The only people who could realistically break it out are the Republicans who can call Biden a racist, but that's not a very compelling argument given the circumstances.
