I am glad you have come around. This country is so sick of Bush it is sickening that he is considering starting another war on his way out the door. I don't know if I know a single person who supports him.

I'm not ready for a war with Iran...but... I think it is extremely important not to let Iran have the ability to develop nuclear caliber weapons. Iran has proven they are more than happy to donate weapons to groups who are fighting with US troops. I don;t see it out of musharraf's personality or agenda to deliver nuclear type weapons to be used on US soliders, or even on US soil. They don't have the balls to carry out the strikes themselves, but would be more than happy to help.

So, I don;t think it's time to hit any type of panic button, but if the shit hits the fan, I would have no problem with tactical air strikes, like the ones that were carried out in Syria about a month ago.

Speaking of Pakistan, has Musharaf(sp) gone over the edge or has just seen how well Myannmar (neé Burma) did with their crackdown? He's claiming he needs Emergency Powers to combat "extremists" and then puts Bhutto and the other opposition people under house arrest. He shut down the media for a while. He even rounded up Judges & Lawyers.

Although, arresting 1 out of every 4 Lawyers isn't such a bd idea.
