Well, "everything" defined as open bar for 3 hours, buffet for all guests, coffee, etc. We even had a local bakery that was affiliated that included a cake.

Three posts that are replies to each other in the same minute. Must be a level record.

Ok, so $110 for open bar for 4.5 hours, 4 butlers with apps, 2 tables with apps, buffet, etc. is good then, right

I'm not married but I will offer this.

I have been to weddings in a firehall w draft beer and a buffet, and I have been to black tie affairs in historic hotels where you weren't even permitted to tip the bartenders.

I have fun at every one.

Well, it's tough to compare. Is this in Center City? Mine was at a public country club right outside Wilmy. I am guessing your market is a shade more expensive.

Actually, KB, let me edit mine. The original $65 was for a 3 hour bar, however we extended it later for $5/head, regardless of how many were left in the hall. So for a 4 hour bar we paid $70.

Ok, that makes sense, then. We're near Center City, good location for everyone coming, so I can see the difference.

Just make sure you have good music and an open bar.

Given your market, I would expect that price to be about right. But all you gotta do is shop around a bit. Most places have to keep their prices competitive.

KB where are you having it if you don't mind my asking?

Thats a great deal KB, most places would charge $100 just for the shirtless male butlers.

Buffet is a nice call, too, KB. It might sound SLIGHTLY ghetto but there is no entree selection card to be returned, and people are not subjected to terrible service from waitstaff.

Yeah, it's set up cool, too. Two of my friends got married there, food was top notch, top shelf liquor included in the open bar, great service. They even have a person on site that makes sure i have a Grey Goose on the rocks in my hand the whole day

Yep, that was my favorite line of my wedding day, when the manager guy said to me (while the bar was closed for dinner) "The bar is never closed for you, GGB".
