Military Asks Injured Soldiers to Return Signing Bonuses

Probably not worthy of its own thread but it could springboard into something interesting. I find this pretty low and sickening on behalf of our government.

"Sorry you got blown up by a bomb in our immoral war. Now where's our $3K?"

Is there any possible justification for this? Not trying to be a smartass, I am seriously asking.

No one gives a fuck about the soldiers except their families.

And no one in the government cares about poor or working people.

I have a feeling that this may not last long once more people hear about this.

This is more than likely a bureuacratic snag, and not a policy, in which case it's really not worthy of mentioning, especially not starting a thread so F_B can spout off.
