After trying to put his marital problems on TV for his show, his wife filed for divorce.
The kicker - she didn't tell him, apparently. He found out after a reporter asked him, "So how do you feel about your wife filing for divorce?"

Total cost of attempting to launch 1 daughter's bubblegum music career:
- Marriage
- Tens of millions (for the kid his son killed while drift racing in Miami).
- 1/2 of remaining fortune in divorce.
Reality Shows are always worth it, though.

And Hogan's a blonde with big breasts. Comes full circle, don't it?
And Hogan's starring in American Gladiators, so he might have time to pose with his artificial hip to the fans.

More craziness:
The Tampa Tribune reported Linda wants her share of the two homes, as well as alimony, child support and attorney fees. Her petition said the marriage is irretrievably broken. She is also looking for a life insurance policy that would cover child support if Hulk dies and said she would be living with Nick, and wants him to pay Nick's health insurance. She also wants all assets distributed equally. If an equitable split can't be agreed to, she wants the properties sold and the money equally divided. TMZ claims the two were secretly separated for some time.

If that's what she's asking for, it doesn't seem to be all that different than what most women get - basically their equitable share. He didn't make any real money before they married so he had to have made it all during the marriage - legally she's entitled to half, no?
Still don't agree with the way she went about it.

I think you're a pretty hardcore cunt if you have your entire existance provided for (in the lap of luxury), have your sons career sponsored, have your daughters career sponsored, and still ask for child support on a 17 year old (in addition to everything else you get).
She's a nasty hunk of lady and she should happy the Hulk pinned her for all these years. She should leave with her dignity and disgusting sausage tits.

The Hulkster's wife/daughter could form a tag team against Fergie and Hilary Swank for the Tranny Tag Championship Belt during the next Wrestlemania.

Just for a moment, has anyone considered that this "Divorce" is a tad bit contrived, and being set in motion to protect assets that will very likely be sought in a lawsuit from the family who's child is bound to a wheelchair now after Nick Hogan's and his drag racin incident?
I'm sittin here thinking that supposedly from what you read, they couple underwent 'counseling' during the season of Hogan Knows Best, so the thing I always think with an eye towards- "Plausible Deniability" is indeed intact.
They split everything, and her seeking child support for a 17 yr old boy only stashes more of what Mr. Hogan would have available to him should he be hauled to court (cars in his name, he's the cash cow).
I'm just thinking that it's possible that this is a 'divorce' of convenience, changes nothing as far as their relationship- surely the 2 can be seen together anytime without raising suspicion; 2 kids together, a TV show that may or may not be headin for another season, and the shared notoriety. This to me, stinks of a money saving manuever and I would say a shrewd one, if in fact, Im onto something.

I think that's one of the prevailing theories and that's what the attorney about to sue them for that accident has been shouting since day one.
He basically said the divorce is an attempt to lock up 50% of their assets from this lawsuit.

Um, do you really wanna shine a light of 'relaventness' on people's posts?
Methinks you'd be disintegrated on the spot from a Hiroshima type exposure.
Unlike a few others here, I'm not 'up on' the Wrasslin community and all relevant musings/buzz surrounding it or it's 'athletes'.
However, I DID just now find what FD's talkin about, care of the office Wrestling guy whom Ive discussed out here before.
As it turns out, I didnt have all the facts right in my initial theory, but close enuff.
"Kimberley Kohn, a Tampa attorney who represents Ed Graziano, the father of injured passenger John Graziano, says the Hogan divorce is a move to protect assets and is more a ruse than a real divorce.
The Graziano family is planning on filing a lawsuit against the Hogans and Kohn says that the Hogans are divorcing in order to force the Graziano's to go after both of them separately which makes the entire process more difficult. In all likelyhood, they will only go after Hulk Hogan since the cars used in the wreck are likely under his name alone, and now with him getting divorced, his assets will likely be cut in half (with the other half going to Linda), thus assuring the Hogans that they will retain at least half their fortune in a worst case scenario.
John Graziano has been hospitalized since August after being the passenger in Nick Hogan's car which ended up getting in a wreck. John will now likely need a lifetime of nursing home care.
Nick Hogan is facing a felony charge of reckless driving with serious bodily injury.
The St. Petersburg Times has a detailed article on this situation.
