I think the big difference between the 2 cases is that, in the Georgia case, the prosecutor was trying to prevent any number of future murders, exponentially when you consider the fatherless children his prison time might have averted.


While in the Spears case, all that would be gained by prosecution would be the unnecessary and traumatic separation of this young family.

Tour for what? A TV Show? I'm sure she does promotion and stuff, but it would be a tough sell to a judge that they only had sex in states where it was legal and refrained completed in their joint apartment/bed.
