Jim McKay- dies at 86 of natural causes.
Never had an issue with McKay. Always kinda liked him.

I agree. He always did a good job and never tried to be the story. He & Roone Arledge really changed how sports is shown on TV.
Plus he was a local boy.

The Buffalo Bills just lost their biggest fan.
Gotta give the guy credit because he was always waving the flag for the Bills and Sabres. Every time I'd get ready to leave the house for another Sunday of misery, I'd always look at Russert championing his lowly teams and think, "He's had it so much worse than I have."
Until he started fawning all over Obama in the debates, he was probably the most impartial political journalist in this country.
