though i get annoyed when they do some faux-addiction, like an eating disorder.
Yeah, if you saw the one this past Monday, it looked like they should have had a full hour on that genius from Pittsburgh (FB?) and cut out the 546 pound kid entirely.

I wanted this kid to put gun to mouff in the worst way.

The funny thing about the video game addict was that his girlfriend was not THAT bad looking at all.

In a sense, I almost like those addictions more. The people are crazier and a lot less reasonable

i must have missed the vid game addict. actually sounds kind of interesting.
szr, what was the deal with that freak from pittsburgh? he was addicted to robotussin or something? i didn't really get it; he just seemed like some dirtbag with no particular addiction.
the fat guy was alright, but i wanted to see more binge-eating.
and another thing, and my wife noticed this too - doesn't it seem that there is something effete (seth's word) about these super-obese guys? they always seem to have no body hair or beard and sound and act like pre-pubescent boys. i wonder if there is a correlation.

Their bodies rub up against their clothes too much to allow for hair growth perhaps?

Yeah, cough medicine because he couldn't afford anything else, but he was totally vacant. When he solicited a hooker with no cash and thought the producers would pay for it I was hoping for a beatdown from the pimp.

interesting. but i'm talking about the super-obese, mind you, not just the regular beer drinking fat-asses.
it seems like they just don't have enough testosterone/too must estrogen, which would seem to explain weight gain, lack of muscle tone, and general girlishness.
jules?

Cute, kb. I should never have shown f-d that part of Grand Theft Auto.

Dude in Korea was playing one of those MMORPGs (massively multiplayer online role playing game). World of Warcraft is an example, where you're just online going through a virtual world and building yourself up. Sort of like an online Chia-Pet.
Anyway, dude died because he was playing some game straight for like 44 hours with no bathroom breaks or anything else. His body just went into shock, and that was it.

No way, the new gamers are a new breed, sort of. They're the same guys, but now the average age is 32, and can afford everything they want

Not to mention that there's a ton more different ways to get your game on than 20 years ago, as well as what goes into games nowadays (movie-styled production values, loooooong playing times, etc)
