“Sherlock Holmes took his bottle from the corner of the mantelpiece, and his hypodermic syringe from its neat morocco case. With his long, white, nervous fingers he adjusted the delicate needle and rolled back his left shirtcuff. For some little time his eyes rested thoughtfully upon the sinewy forearm and wrist, all dotted and scarred with innumerable puncture-marks. Finally, he thrust the sharp point home, pressed down the tiny piston, and sank back into the velvet-lined armchair with a long sigh of satisfaction.”

On shadowed ground, with no one around
And a blanket of stars in our eyes
We are drifting free, like two lost leaves
On the crazy wind of the night
Darlin', don't say a word, 'cause I already heard
What your body's sayin' to mine
If I want it all night
You say it's alright
We got the time

- 'You have a morbid aversion to dying. You probably resent the fact that you’re at war and might get your head blown off any second.'
- 'I more than resent it, sir. I’m absolutely incensed.'
- 'You have deep-seated survival anxieties. And you don’t like bigots, bullies, snobs, or hypocrites. Subconsciously there are many people you hate.'
- 'Consciously, sir, consciously,' Yossarian corrected in an effort to help. 'I hate them consciously.'

I still remember the first time you said that you loved me
You held me in your arms and said you'd never ever leave me
(you'd never ever leave)
And all these promises you've kept
I've rephrased the past when I once wept
You've made my fantasys come true
My heart belongs to you
Youre my dreamboy
You show me you're lov in every way
You're faithful to me everyday
Now I know that dreams come true
You're my dreamboy

FB, its (since it's NEAG's part, he posted the girls verse, to her 'dream boy' ) from that WAY overplayed in 1990 "Dream Boy/Dream Girl" by Cynthia and Johnny O.
Part of that Freestyle wave that kinda peaked right round then actually. By 92, that era of F-style had petered out.
