What do you mean? The guy is cheap, Sampras called him out. People laughed at both things.
done arguing about this. if you can't see the difference between the two, i don't know what to tell you.

NYFF-
Federer was completely uncomfortable and even tried to lighten the mood with the Rivalry comment.
Nadal admitted afterwards that his english is at a level that he had no clue wtf they were talking about.

I couldn't really hear how it got started, but I think it's fair to say they just don't like one another at all.
The walk imitation, for instance, might be taken a different way if they were friends. You might react a little differently if a friend was giving you static than a person you don't like making fun of you in front of a crowd of onlookers.
That was horribly awkward, though. I'd give the edge to Agassi only because it seemed like it started because Sampras got way too serious and Sampras actually tried to take his head off after being the one to initially escalate the entire thing.

ok, maybe...but lets' say there was a charity softball tournament and some player imitated dykstra's elaborate batter's box ritual. even if they didn't like each other, would that be reason for dykstra to call out to the entire stadium that he's a cheap dirtbag? i mean, call the guy out for something he did or didn't do on the field, but off the field stuff is a little over the line.

Disagree, and you know there's no way Dykstra would do anything for charity

yeah, especially because the impression was dead-on and pretty funny. agassi just made it weird. then sampras tried to kill him with a tennis ball and things quickly flew off the rail.

I don't think "walking like a fag" was one of the legacies Agassi tried to leave behind.

I was saying how pissy Sampras got after that. That serve at Agassi's head was retarded

If you pause the video at 1:53 Sampras looks like Jack from the shining and you can see the complete hatred for agassi in his eyes.

And how sad is the sport of tennis that 8 years since their last meaningful match and these two still provide the most excitement to the sport.

I wondered that til I watched it again and watched the actual Best Man's feet- its a very natural looking fall- he's looking forward and never looks down at the 1st step that effs him all up.
not to mention the Bride's reaction didnt lend itself to fake/'get it on youtube'- at least not to me, in that she didnt flip- she looks lost and in shock, even momentarily reaching to reposition her veil as if that's goin to restore order...
The preacher only goes in when she takes him with her, i guess you could use that as a point in favor of it being staged but I dunno, very well could be but Im goin to side slightly with 'authentic'.

yeah, not sure how much credibility seth has in these matters after the yeti-in-the-ice-cooler incident.
i'll go with kb for matters that require a cold dose of disappointing reality.

Wait- hold on.
a) KB's our resident grouch in the can so I dont know that id dismiss my take on the clip so fast- I mean, i said in my response It could be faked but when i looked a 2nd time, after initially thinking it was staged- i thought the guy really fell.
b) YETI IN THE ICE COOLER?!
Dude, a) I said that based on 1 of the leading cryptozoologists & authors (Loren Coleman) in the fields INITIAL impression- I would not dismiss it outta hand despite the (then) 'leaked' photos etc....I defferred to him in almost every post about the matter and expressed little shock when it was found to be a hoax.
b) Yeti's are NOT found in N.America- only in Tibet. Totally separate, and Im not sure that the Yeti isn't really a rare type of Tibetan Bear.(One that grows up to 8 feet tall when walking on its hind legs, reportedly very adeptly per famous hiker/author Reinhold Messner- link below to his excellent book btw-in which while hiking, believed he had an encounter with a Yeti, and sets out to uncover what the possible answer could be)
Yo, click it

seth, i was just bustin' balls about the yeti/ice cooler business. i have no idea whether the wedding video is legit, just that most of these internet things that get spread virally (think hogzilla, for instance) tend to be fabricated, so i usually err on the side of skepticism.
