Kids momma gets mad, forces school's principal and teacher to apologize- citing her son's ADHD as the reason for his taunts and resulting discipline, which she deemed unfair.

The mom and child are on the front page of the DE News Journal with their tale of woe.

Someone in the comments for the story which by now I'm sure have to have been deleted- (they're nothing compared to what takes place out here on most days) took it upon themselves to look her up in the states online "DE'S WANTED" database (link to that below) and found she has 2 outstanding warrants for failure to appear- driving w/out insurance.

They turn her in.

So what *is* appropriate for discipline these days? Teachers aren't allowed to spank kids, telling them to stop doesn't have any effect, so what else can the teacher do? I think this was actually a pretty excellent response to the situation.

Just because a kid has ADHD doesn't mean he gets to keep disrupting the class.

However, it would seem that many of those who commented (41 pages - still up btw- linked below, sorry for ommision last post) took issue with that rather flimsy excuse to make a defense of her lil' guy- and someone made sure Johnny Law caught up with her.

If you know you have outstanding warrants- PLURAL- for the SAME THING -why pose for a picture to adorn the FRONT PAGE OF THE STATES ONLY PAPER OF RECORD, WITH YOUR NAME PRINTED DIRECTLY BENEATH IT!?

I disagree and find nothing wrong with the Teacher labeling the kid as "the Class Clown". Their's nothing racial, religious or malicious in it. It's a fact. If he/she had brought up the kid's ADHD, then yeah, but Class Clown isn't out of line.

Hell, George Carlin had an album titled Class Clown.

This is exactly what the kid did to the girl he was teasing.

Doesn't everyone remember a time when their teacher caught someone passing notes and then decided to read the note in front of the entire class? Not by some coincidence, that public ridicule proved rather effective in preventing that person from continuing to pass notes in class.
