My favorite part was the attempted murder at the end (with the failed head stomp).

I rented this on Netflix a couple of years ago. It's pretty bizarre and living proof that some kinds of comedy do not age well.
i know we've beaten this topic to death, but has any SNL-style sketch comedy from the 70's aged well?

There isn't very much about comedy (in general) that ages well.
I think there are a couple (very few) standup, sketch, TV, and movies comedies that are even remotely funny unless you saw them when they first happened and the "funny" is locked in your head somewhere.

There are a bunch of movies that I thought were hilarious when they first came out, but no longer laugh as hard at. Naked Gun and Wayne's World being two off the top of my head.
And flesh, you and I are kindred spirits when it comes to old SNL sketches. I guess we aren't "two wild and crazy guys"

Monty Python is pretty brutal nowadays, as well.
I loved that shit when I was in high school, but either I grew out of it or society did.

ntf. that's the sketch that makes me the saddest/angriest/embarrassed/whatever emotion is the opposite of amused.

And I think that both Steve Martin and Dan Akroyd are both worthy "straight men". Martin is probably the best

Monty Python is still funny. But we've been down this road before.

You gotta love these huggable retards. If they weren't so hellbent on destroying America, they'd be too cute for words.

Was this you Fagel?
"A pro hockey game in Sweden was delayed briefly when fans of Stockholm-based AIK littered the ice with dildos to taunt Leksand star Jan Huokko. Earlier this year, Huokko’s phone had been stolen, and an explicit video clip of him and his girlfriend circulated around Sweden’s part of the Internet.
AIK fans also unfurled a banner reading “Bend over bitch!”, which was accompanied by a giant inflatable penis. Vulgar chants directed at Huokko continued throughout the match, which Leksand ended up losing 3-2.
AIK club management was aware of their fans’ plans for knocking Huokko off his game, but elected not to intervene. “We’d also heard mention of it, but we decided that it would only be worse if we went out and told the fans they were absolutely not allowed to throw dildos on the ice,” said AIK club head Mats Hedenström to the newspaper.

Hard to believe that with the internet, people still work out their psycho-sexual fantasies via letters to Dear Abby
