How is this accomplished? Im sure at least some who've clicked on some NSFW links plopped in threads without warning would be interested....

Just memorize those passwords.
From what I'm told, even that isn't impervious to a dedicated puter geek search. Johnson? Uber?

And there's no real reason anyone shouldn't be using Mozilla, aside from some websites don't work well with it.

Sorry for the delay Jules, I'm going to the hospital today to check out the leg. The new symptom is pain in the lower back & numbness of the leg & foot. I'm now thinking some sort of pressure on a nerve.
GGB, I've developed (stole) a method for making BBQ with terra cotta flower pots & a hot plate. I just need to have people ship me Hickory chips. Dad's going to try to take care of that.

Bad sprain with lower back pain & numbness coming from my bodies adjustment to my limp and pressure on L5. Should clear up in 2 - 6 weeks.
Bottom line is I'm a Nancy & Hypochondriac.

Time to ask Dr. Jules -
I have a friend who gets a lot of acne. She gets it on her back as well. No, she's not on 'roids. I had made a suggestion (based on fam history) that it might be her thyroid (though there were other symptoms present), but a test done by a local doc (who I consider a quack) showed negative.
What other factors are there, and could the test have missed something?

The one thing that is usually very difficult to miss with a fracture, fagel, is that for a weight-bearing structure it is VERY hard to bear weight if it actually IS fractured. In Canada, they developed what are known as the "Ottawa Criteria" for determining who needs an imaging study and who doesn't for ankle injuries in kids.
Not surprised, but it is good that you know.
As for acne, it is one thing that dermatologists make a ton of cash on (pimple popper MD). With thyroid disease, initial tests are often negative and if she's always had acne its unlikely that a screening thyroid exam would figure out why. Moreover, the manifestations of abnormal thyroid function are usually not isolated to acne. There'd be MANY other things for low vs high thyroid hormone levels: fatigue vs palpitations, bulging of the eyes (exophthalmos from high T4/3 levels), jittery, abnormal menstruation, diminished vs hyper reflexia, puffiness of the skin particularly over the shins. Acne wouldn't be high on my list.
Now, it is often related to sebaceous glands/pores (the usual culprits) getting infected and can be treated aggressively since the skin on the back is a "safer" place to use the usual treatments. Now, if the problem is not resolved using the traditional treatments, then I'd consider certain hormonal imbalances (not necessarily limited to the thyroid) but more from the adrenal glands, pituitary or ovaries.

sorry, that would be that if she's always had acne related to thyroid dysfunction it would be pretty odd to NOT have any abnormal levels on a standard thyroid panel. I should warn that the standard screening test is measuring the level of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in the blood and nothing else. More comprehensive panels check: TSH, T4 and T3, binding proteins and thyroglobulin levels.

Jules flipping thru the channels I happened on that actual video on the TMZ show- and this picture doesn't do it justice- literally it's like she's got two sticks with some big ass boots- the best part is after that they cut to clips of Olive Oil, and you can't tell who's skinnier

Here's one for you, Jules. In the past 3 years, I've had 3 incidents where I've passed out sober.
There haven't been triggers as far as I can tell...different situations, different stress levels, etc.
I'm not too concerned about it, but I'm thinking it's possible I should be.

Maybe it's a toomah.
It's all very strange to me because I've never fainted in my life. Now, 3 tmes in 3 years. Once I felt sick and thought I had food poisoning. I went to the bathroom, spashed some water on my face, and kinda slumped to the floor...lights out.
The second time, I was at a bar. I had 1 or maybe two beers. I started getting a cold sweat and I thought it was because I was really hot or something, so I went outside to get some fresh air and smoke a cigarrette. I came back inside and got the feeling again a few minutes later. I stood up to go back outside and...boom. Lights out (went down like a ton of bricks).
The most recent time I was at the hospital and someone was giving a blood sample. I think needles and blood are gross, but that's about it. About 5 minutes later I was walking out of the lab and while I was walkign down the hallway, I could feel like was going to pass out, so I walked over to a chair and sat down, but eventually had to lay down.
All three times I went out, but never for more than a couple seconds and each time I was completely back to normal within maybe 5 minutes tops.
If it was just the first one, I'd say I was possibly sick. If it was just the last one, I'd say maybe I have a blood aversion (though I did have my own blood taken in the last 3 years and didn't suffer any ill effects).
I'm just kind of baffled. Part of me wants to go back and watch someone give blood again to see if it happens again. Maybe I could at least link it to some kind of heightened anxiety level that's getting more profound as I get older or something? I have no idea.
