Hell, if you aren't generally familiar with the relative strengths/weakneses of Batman and Superman, you should probably be taken to Gitmo for a "few questions" before they shut things down.

- cooler.
- not afraid of green rocks.
- can go out in a red sun.
- isn't hated by Seth.
- beat Supes to within an inch of his life.
- has a better car, but could fly if he wanted to.
- has better villains.

Face it, f-d - your defense of Superman (like Supah 5) is misguided.

In real life, Batman wouldn't go toe-to-toe with ol' Supes; that's foolish. So he'd bring him down to his level (and really, it's as easy as repositioning some global satellites to filter out the yellow rays of the sun), wait until he's weak enough, and beat the mess out of him. See? Brilliance. And if that doesn't work, just poison his nads with a Kryptonite special and sit back and watch the fun.

I admit that if Superman went on vacation and Batman had a couple years to prepare for their battle with unlimited funds and technology, he might give him a run for his money.

By the way, one of the funniest scenes from Seinfeld is the argument about whether or not Superman has a Super sense of humor.

thats the entire point behind my hatred, utter and complete hatred of that glamour boy, do goodie by the bookie, doesnt have to break a sweat or endure any real hardship or pain in battle (sans green rocks in the picture) etc etc etc.

if batman had a real reason to take on (down) supermo, then you have to realize that:

in his own mind/logic, even if its convoluted or a 'round the mulberry bush' stream of conciousness- he'd be convinced that he must, and if so, then nothing's outta play.

Batman makes up for his lack of powers, telepathy, flight, super strength etc with his mind, an almost to the pin point paranoia, planning and preparation. contingency plans for the contingency plans.

he has all he needs on ol' goggles, if he needs to, to get supermo to back off, or do what he wants, or ultimately take him down.

he knows his alias. fact.
he knows supermo doesnt want those he foolishly allowed to get close to him ("HOis Lame") in jeapardy. batman does the right thing,but by any means necessary.

he wouldnt be taking on supermo cos he doesnt like his tights- it would be due to some sorta perceived threat or compromise.

supes is done.

all the influence in the world, money, means and technology and again, armed with the kinda information on the toolbag to really back dude into a corner, and likely a healthy chunk of kryptonite (yes, my man is that prepared and willing to do that kinda thing if needed and thats 1 of the things that makes him so much better than a guy born with the silver spoon in his mouth- wake up, can fly, will travel- eff that)

if batman had to take supermo down, it'd get done.
it wouldnt be pretty, and it'd likely have batsy sittin there after the fact wondering if he had to go that hard, that heavy, if he did the right thing, perhaps putting others in jeapordy who are otherwise innocent in order to get his way, etc, but itd get done cos he believed that it had to be done and that would be that.

never underestimate brains, steely resolve, determination, a good dose of stubborn, more than a little bit of an anger management prollem with a controlling, paranoid nature and a large spoonfull of distrust, with the means and resources to do anything necessary.

tho i dont know that ive ever said that, necessarily, i think ive always stated that i dont have the patience to sit there that long and get into that kinda stuff.
