LONG and I'm just starting, but I'm already a little skeptical regarding Richard Alpert. I doubt he was born in 1970 based on what we know now. I think it's more likely he was a passenger on the Black Rock.

It's a very interesting theory and some version of it is most likely true. I don't quite get their explanations in a couple places like the reason only Desmond "relived" his lost timeline and no on else did or why Locke, when he travels back to the current timeline, can walk again. I also don't believe Richard has lived all the way to 2007 and traveled back to 1900 because it seemed as though he was still in the "learning" stage when locke met him in 1950's...like he didn't fully understand what was going to happen in the future or how the island worked.

This is just a random observation, too. I wouldn't normally even consider something like this on any other show, but given Lost's attention to detail and the nature of the show...I wonder how Richard's hair ever grew long (when he first met Ben) if they were in a time loop and weren't aging?

Also (not really related), why is Sawyer the only guy who's hair grows among the losties?

He and John have been on the island the same amount of time. Locke's hair is still short and Sawyer's hair has grown about 8 inches.

I like the new show Eastbound and Down. It's gotten progressively less funny every episode though, even though it's still funny.

I don't know if there are any South Park fans here but the season premiere making fun of Disney and the Jonas Brothers was both offensive and funny as hell.

Stewart was talking about it last night, laughing at how the media is blowing everything out of proportion.

I feel a little bit bad for Cramer, but I don't quite understand why he can't just admit that his "buy high" and "sell everything low" was a bad call.

The idea that he saved everyone by telling them to sell everything is nutso and almost as crazy as his "buy Bear" advice earlier.
