"but with mormons coursing through our veins"

Obscure Family Ties quote, nice!

Bass, thanks for admitting to the Kate Jackson crush. I thought I was all alone. Do you know how hard it was to find a poster of her in my youth? But I got it done (and way before the internet, too).

Of course there were the normal crushes too: Cheryl Teigs, Linda Carter, Christie Brinkley, Dawn Wells, Debbie Harry, etc.

Obscure crushes: Kathy Lee Crosby, Adrienne Barbeau (sp?), Stevie Nicks,

If Family Guy used it, they also recycled it. I've heard and used that expression for a long time. I think I heard it in the 80s.

Ugh. Family Ties, not Family Guy.

I think that was the show. It was Alex's goofy friend.

That be Skippy. He had a crush on Malorie and I think he used that line when talking about her.

Actually the quote is from the younger sister. She had a crush on an older boy that liked Mallory. That was her reasoning for why he was confused.

Are you challenging my recollection of a 3 second bit I saw twenty years and 5,000 beers ago?

Porky's would be about the third. 2nd was a movie called Coach - Kathy Lee Crosby in the shower.

NC - yeah, I guess I am being a prick, but for some reason that seen has always stuck in my mind.

My first movie boobs are as fine as they come. My 12th birthday, my mom circumvented the "R" movie rating by purchasing the tix for me and my boys (but not coming in) and we saw "Caddyshack" with Lacey the U.

And we were all caddy's at the time as well. Good times.

Interestingly, we tried the same deal for The Blues Brothers right around that time and we got booted out halfway through it.

They showed the boobage?
Guess I wasnt impressed.

Here's an embarrassing moment-

Most of you guys know that from the way Ive described my Pop, he was a tad on the, extreme evangelical side, really caught up in it, freely givin $ and very judgemental of everyone who wasnt.

With good intentions, he up and decides to take me to a flick downashore- and its National Lampoons European Vacation. Now mind you, I turned 13 that summer, and have seen boobs aplenty at this point, but not in his mind.

Not too far into the flick, the dancing girls are on stage, dancing topless.

He up and grabs me like im 5 and pulls me outta my seat, up the aisle, only to have to sit there in the lobby with the Manager as he berates the guy for showing a movie like that with a PG-13 rating.
On and On about how that type of 'fare' isnt suitable for any 13 yr old, not his for sure.

Um, what?!
Oh the Humanity, I remember every stained fiber of that lobby's rug as I bored holes in it, staring ever so intently into it so as not to be seen- no positive ID made on my identity. UGH.
