NEAG- i told ya this before offline, no shame in that at all.
Some of the best 'bodies' (you KNOW what I mean) in my gym are guys that are just ones with very smallish frames, but are in PEAK condition and they do a lot of lifting and never touch a weight bigger than 25 lbs.
You're already quite lean to begin with so you've got that goin for you- any muscle you add/develop will show up almost instantly.
Dont be intimidated by what you think others will think if they see you lift.
Nobody starts out at the far right of the dumbbell rack.

Unless I am working out with someone or with a trainer, I tune out everyone else in the gym and pretend they aren't there.
Guys who throw heavy weight around usually use bad form and don't look that good anyway.
If you are really self conscious, do you have room for a weight set at home? Isometrics can be just as good for muscle tone and definition if you don't.
My above advice was to get lean Neag, but Seth has pointed out that you already are.

Yup that's pretty lean I would think.
You probably have a fast metabolism, and for that I must hate you for all eternity.
Seriously tho, a bow-flex is another option. They work and come with a routines and instructions.
If you up your protein intake and resistance training you will see results very fast.

I was talking to a trainer at my gym last week. He turned me onto some videos released by an all natural body builder “Vics Natural”.
These videos really break down the most common body building exercises are really show you, in detail, proper form.
I did his shoulder workout Friday and I have to say that with his slight adjustments in form, I got the best shoulder workout in years.
Check his stuff out for a great tutorial.
And yes, he does look like a roided out Bob Saget.

Watched the shoulder thingy too. Odd that he does his compound exercise after all the iso's. Goes against everything I've ever learned. Good find though, munch.

I agree Zak and I was skeptical after watching it.
But when I tried it, wow. I got to the point where I couldn't do the raises with 10 pound weights and I consider shoulders my strength.
I've never even heard of the middle of the way raises he does, but they really blast your shoulders.
Plus, not locking out on military presses makes them so much harder and efficient.
I tried his bicep routine yesterday with similar success.
Trying the back today...

Sorry Seth, your workplace hates youtube.
They are very much worth a watch later from home.

I tried the back routine today. Treating each exercise (lat pull downs, upright rows, dumbbell rows) as a 2-part movement felt awkward at first. By my third set of each I felt what he was getting at and it made a huge difference.

We should all post pics of us in our bathing suits.
Then, we can do an "after" pic after a few mos of munch's workout.

If you wear a liner in your suit, chances are NEAG is not interested in your pick.
Figure it out.

Thx for clarifying, Seth.
I thought you meant a "d" instead of a "p"
