Cool as ice or trashy as heck?
You decide.
I got to thinking of this when in Vegas my friend told me he was paying $2500 to get his removed from his bicep.
Tattooed levelers, do you regret it?

I've actually been to Eddie's twice, pic in hand, to get one. both times something weird happened (i think the pic quality sucked the first time, can't remember the second)
Anyway, it's the family's coat of arms. I'll probably end up with a lot though

Never had one, never will. I think it started when my mother had the proud distinction of designing a cover-up for a visible Chicago Bears tattoo on the right shoulder of one of the WOMEN in my older sister's wedding.

Too many variables with this topic.
I don't have any ink but don't mind those that do.
I think not having ink at this point is almost more unique than having any.
I often consider getting ink but can't settle on something I'd mind having printed on my body for the rest of my life.
I appreciate a tattoo that means something or is significant to the wearer. Also ones that can be concealed in a professional setting.
I think lower back tattoos on women are completely played out and find them a bit trashy.
And lastly, if you're going to get a tattoo get it done by somebody with skill. Nothing worse than a hack job tattoo.

Its a personal choice is all, like what you wear, whatchya eat, who ya sleep with etc.
I think i have a decent idea of what's trashy and what's not.
Many Tats absolutely look trashy (Sleeves, full body tats etc) IMO.
Solitary ones or ones in certain places? Not to me.
I Loved the experience.

The woman in question was a childhood friend of my brother-in-law, who's from Minnesota. Such things are fairly common up there...
I look forward to seeing my generation in the year 2040-- a bunch of doting grandmothers running arounds with visble tramp stamps.

I've never understood getting the name of a deceased relative tattooed on an arm or something-- to me, it always comes across as a conversation starter, and I can't understand why you'd want that brought up over and over. I know that's not their intent, but you can't tell me it doesn't happen.
One of the guys on Memphis' basketball team had what appears to be the entire Book of Revelations inked on his right arm. It's been driving me nuts the entire tournament.

But I would never get one.
And I wouldn't ever hire anyone with prominant tattoos. That's just me.

I'll gladly send anyone who's interested an EPS file of the 700level.com logo for placement right over their heart (or wherever you might choose to get it inked).

Dearest dickheads- Im about to (again) releive you of the notion that I would have either a superhero tatt'ed onto my body, nor an emblem that you'd associate with the logo.
My tat is tribal. Its all black. There's no costumed hero, there's no yellow oval or whatever around the logo.
I went in with 2 drawings of my own, and 1 old 'bman logo' (there's a couple) which features the actual bad rather stretched out and the wings akin to axe blades.
I asked the expert the 1st time I went in to talk to him, as you should do, which he thought would play best.
Looking at the size, contour of shoulder, he suggested the latter. It stretches across the entire cap (all 3 delt heads) whereas my angular and more pointed ideas i toyed with wouldnt have looked that good.
He actually ended up free-handing some of it towards the front. When you lay a stencil or tracing on a body part, it doesnt always translate 100% perfectly.
ANYWAY- many would recognize the actual bat as that of 1 incarnation of a bman logo, which again, is fine with me- its the look of the tat that i was most concerned with (after it being a bat) and im very happy with how it came out.

And I wouldn't ever hire anyone with prominant tattoos. That's just me.
I ended up hiring someone who had a long tat on his arm of a woman. He kept it hidden during the interview process (and the process I wasn't directly in control of anyway), but now that he wears short-sleeve shirts all the time, it's out there for the world to see.
I wouldn't not have hired him based on the tat, but it would've given me something else to reconsider.
