He makes his primetime debut on CBS tonight at 9pm.
They are talking about a possible Tyson matchup- I'd have to take Kimbo if it happens, this dude is SCARY. Check him out on youtube if you don't know who he is.

That's a great hit. Very Sheldon Brown on Reggie Bush-ish.

Kimbo hasn't fought anyone of real skill so far. He has another tomato can tonight.
There is no doubt he is a scary looking dude, but I think he came to "MMA" party a little too late to be very good. He is a side show, that MMA would love to have, as long as he doesn't fight anyone of rell skill
A little know fact about him is he went to Miami on a full Academic Scholarship.

Yes. He had a big spread in Muscle & Fittness a couple months ago- they detailed dude's training regimen etc....
This man is insane and I for one will be tuning into this tonite.

They stopped the fight for that??
This was the first MMA fight I've ever really watched, but looks like Kimbo's got some work to do. He definitely passes the look thest though...

Garbage. A fixed fight at its best. He wouldn't last a minute in the UFC or Pride. The f'ing ref was telling him to hold on when there was ten seconds left in the second round.

None of the guys I saw tonite had solid technique. Just brawlers throwing haymakers. Pride is ok. UFC is the only place where they have reasonable fighters. Pride's best days are behind it.

How early they stopped fights last night shows wht MMA doesn't work on network TV.
Kimbo is a beast no doubt, but he showed exactly why he will get destroyed by a UFC level fighter in his weight class last night.
Other then throwing punches he is just plain akward.

Have no doubt about this: Slice would be destroyed by any legitimate mixed martial artist. Had Slice faced ex-WWE champion Brock Lesnar, the current UFC rookie hopeful, he’d had been beaten in less than two minutes.
As it was, Slice struggled his way to a sloppy third-round knockout of a complete tomato can.
You can’t blame Slice, because he had no business being in a main event of a mixed martial arts bout at this stage of his progression. It takes years of training and sacrifice to reach the main event in MMA and Slice was only there because of the notoriety he’d gained in his YouTube street brawls.
Glad I didn't waste my time watching this. click here

Lesnar is much bigger than Slice no?
But he was an all american wrestler and anyone of that caliber would kill slice under MMA rules.
Meh,
Last nights show as fun for a free event. It was a tad cheesy how they copied wrestling for ring entrances and they toatlly copied WCW with how they treated Kimbo's dressing room.

I felt the same way, munchdaddy. The cheesiness was a bit overdone. But I don't watch too much MMA and found last night to at least be entertaining when they got in the ring. I'll definitely be watching more UFC in the future.
That dudes ear was distugustingly fascinating before it cut open.

Yeah Irwin,
I half expected Goldberg chants to start when they kept cutting back to Kimbo's dressing room door.

These fools constantly injure/inflame the cartilage of their ears, and they get those funky clover-like ears like rugby players do (except the ones that tape them up).
Last night was a horrific display of crappy form and lousy fighting. Haymakers are not the purvey of real fighters.

They never should have stopped it then.
Something makes me think, even though by all accounts the telecast was a disaster- the ratings they received will make CBS go ahead and do it again. Hopefully they can correct the many mistakes they made the second time around.

Fixed fight.
Bimbo Lice is an overrated, outta breaff fru-awd.
What a bum.
That limey with the bubble ear took it to Alley Man.
What a farce.
The announcers were all over Bimbo, and he got worked over (save the few solid punches someone else noted).
VERRRRRY disapointing.
I would however, love to see Lesnar destroy the "LEGEND" as one announcer dubbed him last nite- after his THIRD fight- in record time.
Brock's no joke.

Lesnar is much smaller than he was when he was juicing at the height of his WWF career. I don't think juice currently has anything to do with his prospects as an MMA fighter.

Correct.
But some will look for a reason as to why (IF KIMBO EVEN GETS TO LESNAR) a Nordic cracker could take out a tough guy from the mean streets of Miami.
Roids / Crack---- push.
Both guys are clean now. Id love to see it.
