You go to Catholic school as well? One thing those nuns actually got right was moving you ahead if they thought you could hang. I got bored in 1st, so they moved me up. Sucked balls though when everyone else could drive but me.
What really sucked was that I wasn't 21 till med school. And the first girl that asked me out in college was shocked that I was 16. She was 27. I explained that I'd wave my rights to statutory rape rights. She didn't buy it.
I went to Catholic school only for my last year of HS.

Yeah, not being able to drink legally until grad school was another suck balls moment for me. Although luckily, PSU bars just wanted to see a real PA id. Didn't necessarily have to be your picture. :-)

That would be absolutely hilarious and would make for better political news coverage than the 2000 election fiasco. With the current political climate, if either Clinton or Barry can't beat McCain, the Democrats should just close up shop all together.

Um, yes. Methinks that would shock MOST people. It also will never happen.

(CNN) — The Rev. Jesse Jackson issued an apology to Barack Obama Wednesday for criticizing the Illinois senator's recent comments directed toward some members of the black community.
According to Jackson, a Fox News microphone picked up comments he meant to deliver privately that seemed to disparage the presumptive Democratic nominee for appearing to lecture the black community on morality.
Jackson didn't elaborate on the context of his remarks, except to say he was trying to explain that Obama was hurting his relationship with black voters by recently conducting "moral" lectures at African-American churches.
"For any harm or hurt that this hot mic private conversation may have caused, I apologize," Jackson said in a statement issued to CNN. "My support for Senator Obama’s campaign is wide, deep and unequivocal. I cherish this redemptive and historical moment."

Rev. Jesse Jackson needs to go away quietly. His time is over.

Did he really ever have a time?
I guess for comics he did.

Note to Obama supporters: "Check for Fox News mics before disparaging the democratic candidate".
The Revs are at it again...Sharpton will find a way to get in the news within 48 hours!

I heard what the context of the remarks were on the radio today.
Apparently, the Reverend would like to rip "that certain part" of Obama's anatomy off

Between Rev Wright, Fr Pfleger & now Rev Jackson, Obama should adopt Henry II's attitude toward Thomas Becket.
"Will no one rid me of this troublesome Priest?"
And folks wonder why the Founding Fathers wanted a seperation of Church & State.

I think B.O. may lose the black vote over this
Doubtful, because most people recognize Jesse's public profile as being out-of-touch and opportunistic. Add to that some people feeling that he's jealous about Obama's rise (compared to his failed attempts in the 80s), and most people will dismiss it.
What it DOES do, is add more crap for the Repubs to repeat.

Yup. This stuff doesn't hurt Obama directly, but as stuff adds up it can a cumulative negative impact. Just a "bad feeling" instead of being inspired by his changing message of hope.

Can someone give me a summary of the video?
Neag, not all of us are paid to stir stuff up on the internet all day, and therefore can't sit and watch videos at our desk.
Silence is fuckin' golden, Lloyd.

Here, GGB:
The remarks came Sunday as Jackson was talking to a fellow interviewee, UnitedHealth Group executive Dr. Reed V. Tuckson. An open microphone picked up Jackson whispering, "See, Barack's been talking down to black people ... I want to cut his nuts off."

Yeah, everyone knows that's Jesse's job to condescend to black people.
