As a member of the nut holding community, I demand a public apology on my radio show, reparations, his firing, community service, a donation to my personal bank account, and his public flogging. Only then can the healing begin.

It's starting to get scarier and scarier in this country
"Today is going to go down as a dark day in our nation's history, as the Senate completes its total capitulation to the Bush administration and its corporate masters, through passing legislation that dramatically expands the government's surveillance powers and immunizes the companies responsible for illegally spying on us from any form of legal redress for the victims."
"Worse yet, the new law that is about to be passed is the worst possible permutation imaginable--not only does it perform all the aforementioned perfidious tasks of justifying lawbreaking and expanding our surveillance state, it practically removes all oversight from the process and allows the surveillance system to be easily tailored to pick on purely domestic issues, ranging from illegal online gambling to P2P file sharing."

More Bush fun: Rove ignores subpeona, refuses to testify
"Karl Rove, President Bush's longtime political guru, refused to obey an order to testify before a House Judiciary Committee hearing Thursday.
Karl Rove's lawyers says he is immune from a congressional subpoena.
Rove's lawyer asserted that Rove was "immune" from the subpoena the committee had issued, arguing that the committee could not compel him to testify due to "executive privilege."
The panel is investigating allegations that Rove and his White House allies dismissed U.S. attorneys and prosecuted officials who they saw as political opponents."

Even I didn't buy into the "Hope and Change" stuff that's being touted.
Even more disappointing is the lack of press this move is getting.

Barry supporters better HOPE he doesn't CHANGE his positions anymore. I see he's got the far left all fired up now because of this.
Also, that V for Vendetta movie is looking more and more like what we can expect in this country if we don't get more libertarian folks like Ron Paul in D.C.
It's absolutely disgusting how are civil liberties are eroding, literally, by the day.
The only thing I agree with Barry on is his stance on Iran. They aren't a nuclear threat(CIA reports and the numerous unscheduled examinations of their facilities prove this) and if Israel wants to saber rattle with them, then let them fucking it on their own. OPEC came out and said today the price of gas will be "limitless" if Iran is attacked.
If Barry gets elected, I can only hope he gives a big FUCK YOU to Israel.

I'm pretty disappointed with B.O. here.
As the days pass, I feel more and more like we're once again stuck between choosing two lameasses for President.
Neither appears to have a coherent economic or energy policy, which is becoming more important by the day. B. Hussein votes in favor of crap like this and McCain wants to bomb Iran.
I'm getting disgruntled.

One easy solution to all of this nonsense is term limits for EVERYONE. I don't care if you clean toilets at the Senate, you get one 4 year term then get the fuck out.

"My girl" is kinda a stretch. She'd vote for it if she was the presumptive nominee. Of course, when Denver hits and she leads the backroom revolt...
This bill was going to pass. I don't think many honestly thought otherwise, if we polled posters here before the vote.
I wonder why he didn't vote "present?"
