I am neither guilty nor liberal. I am white though, so 1 for 3. That's a pretty good % for NEAG.

Liberal voters are supporting the more liberal candidate. This is a shocking development that can only be explained by Obama's race.

He's young, charismatic, and he IS a black man with a realistic chance at becoming the first non-old white man President in 200+ years.
It's no surprise he's getting a lot of media hype and young people are excited, is it?
I mean, he's running against a party with a zero approval rating and the oldest first term Presidential candidate in history.
He's not even running against a Republican who could steal some of the new order thunder. When most of the country (and the world) is looking or some kind of change (which I know has been overused by Hussein), the Republicans trotted out the oldest canddiate in history, while the democrats sent out a young black guy who smokes and gives daps to his wife.
It's not some great mystery he's garnering all the attention and intrigue, is it?

In all seriousness, I bet McCain smells like Necco Wafers and a stale underpants accident.

F-d,
I believe that that article raises many of the points in several articles I posted in an earlier thread. Articles written by a white guy.
I do remember 736 calling that author a sniveling liberal, or something to that effect.
So I am waiting with baited breath for the next round of Seth dismissals of this article.

He's being treated like the head/face of the Party.
Get over it.
The Democratic Party is on the losing end (public opinion) of the argument about off-shore drilling and gave the momentum to the Republicans since Bush rescinded the Executive Order on off-shore drilling.

Actually, you really have to give the Republicans credit. They are on one hand, exploiting Obama's "lack of experience" while at the same time on the other hand blaming current policy on him.
It's uncanny.

It's a shame. The "2000" McCain would cut the "2008" McCain to shreds. I was hoping for an unusual campaign but both guys are turning into business as usual politicos.

What's your point?
I thought that we were going to get beyond the "politics of division"- yet here we go again.
Same old stuff.
I'm an independent (and you know that cowtowing to the Republican party in this manner is only going to get McCain slaughtered).
It's time for some "straight talk" and leaving this crap behind.
In fairness, I can see where Obama pushes the boundries by linking McCain to Bush, or the "McCain's policy is to stay for 100 years"- but it's not like it's all fabricated and without more than a kernel of truth.
"Obama is the reason gas prices are skyrocketing" is a little much though.

I HATE perpetuation of bullshit reinterpretations of the truth. McCain said that we'd stay in Iraq till the job was done...100 years if it took that long. He also said, casualties are the main thing. I'm in TOTAL agreement with this. Can't let Iran waltz in and take over. The surge "worked" because the sunni's were paid to stop shooting at us and the shias knew that they had to keep quiet to retain control of the government. I'm happy with the results. I think these repetitions by Obama are really going to boomerang and kick him in the nuts.

Who is the face of the Democratic Party right now?
NC, you have to admit that is one of the most hilarious quick smears to date in this election.
Completely unrelated, but I also heard Ben Stein saying Obama holding the DNC in a sports stadium with 75K people chanting his name sounded eerily similar to Germany in the 1930's and 40's. Yikes.
This is yet another separate thought, but should piss a lot of peopel off once the word gets out:
Yo, click it
