There's so much murder/shooting/violence in this "community" that we ought to have a thread.
Feel free to add stories of your own

"Due to his back injury, they want him to lay down, but he's moved his arms and legs," his father said. "They took the oxygen mask off and he has no fever, no blood pressure."
No blood pressure, this is truly an amazing story.

"He wasn't mad. He was only worried about his mom and dad, he said, and expressed disappointment, asking: 'Why would someone bring a gun to a graduation where there are women and children?' "

Cops investigate innocent commune hippies
Okay, not a commune, but you'd get the idea. Four young people pass around petition about cops putting cameras in tehri neighborhood. One gets spraypainted. Them's innocent! Cops turn the place upside down after and possibly because the lead hippie decided to "fight the power."

Not a crime, but it happened a few blocks from my house.
On father's day a 23 year old man committed suicide as he jumped off his balcony at the Philadelphian, that big ugly Soviet-bloc-style apartment building right behind the Art Museum, as his parents were on their way to pick him up for dinner.
I guess that's a way to make a point.

And I guess the morons in Philly can stop bitching about a local gun ban and how the rural counties of PA are holding them back, the Supreme Courts just banned the one DC tried.
Batter up.

A number of neighbors reported hearing her screams, but no one thought to call the cops..
"I heard her scream 'Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my God.' Then I didn't pay attention and laid back down," said Sangare

It's possible that the victim was taking the Bobby Knight approach to the situation, those quotes are somewhat ambiguous.

not sure what you mean, glenn. a woman was screaming in the building. multiple neighbors heard it. no one called the cops.
you don't have to be absolutely sure something is going down, but if a woman is screaming at one in the morning in west philly, probably a good idea to call the cops just in case.

Flesh, Bobby Knight was quoted as using the metaphor, "If Rape is inevitable, why not just lie back and enjoy it?". Caused a big flap. It was a joke.

Honestly, how far off from suspending habeas corpus, conveniently forgetting about Probable Cause, disbanding illegal search and seizure laws, and just rounding up everyone that pretty much does not at least make an attempt to not look like a jobless thug can we be?
