I was Googling that story in Detroit about those 7 kids getting shot and happened to click upon the link leading to that site. Apparently it chronicles the worst of the worst crimes. The Duke link caught my eye- kinda wished it hadn't

I helped keep a woman from having her bike stolen last night. It was unreal, we're on a relatively well-trafficked street, both cars and walkers, and it's well-lit. At around 9, not 100% dark out yet, I was on my deck enjoying some pops, and I saw on the corner 3 kids run over to a woman riding her bike. They yelled, then pushed her to the ground and started grabbing at her back tire. I yelled "YOOOOO!" really loud, and the bitches took off. I felt bad, the woman was really shaken up bad, I think she was in shock. I just couldn't believe how brazen the attempt was.

Great job KB. I remember sometime in the mid-90's, my brother, me, and a Catholic priest(!) chasing down a bike theif and beating the shit out of him.
