ntf. they had to have switched their ages. the one listed as 19 looks like he could be the 22 year old's dad.

I didn't even bother to check out the link, but judging from Seth's statements, I wonder if they are black?

That's what I'm saying. This sort of garbage happens every weekend down there. There's even shootings once they opened that black club.

Re letter-writer Terri Davis' complaining that a story about a 4-year-old black child's death was "buried" on Page 5:
Should the paper put every story of a black youth who is killed in the Delaware Valley on the cover?
Every day would be the same cover, just different names. You asked if it were a white child from Bryn Mawr, would his story be treated with the same "disregard," as you put it? No, it wouldn't, because it isn't a common occurrence in Bryn Mawr that 4-year-olds are gunned down in the street because some wannabe thug has a "beef" with some other wannabe thug.
If you want to help make a change, then volunteer to help the children, stand up to the thugs and losers and cowards who need guns to prove how tough they are, and stop blaming the press because they don't make every murdered child a martyr.

That's classic DN.
Here's another interesting article about the Frankford rapist (a "person of interest" has since turned himself in)
A vigilante streak seemed to stretch down Dyre Street near Duffield, where many neighbors took naps during the afternoon in order to fuel their late-night surveillance shifts.
Midori Newlin sat alongside her pit bull, Brownie, and noted the toll the attacks have taken on her daughters, ages 16 and 17.
Sleeping during the afternoon so you can stay up all night? Do any of these people work?

"He said he don't ever want no friends again - ever"
Honestly, can someone please pass along the word to the "Urbans" that repeatedly using double negatives when trying to speak, is a surefire first step to a long, rewarding career as a cashier at Wal-Mart, working right next to the retards?

How is that whiny? I think it's funny, people wanna bitch about lack of economic opportunities yet they can't speak english.
And I am laughing at the fact that she thought her 11 year old was in bed when he was miles away robbing a gun store.

I have to be careful here, as I might get labeled as a "pot-stirrer", even thought I just respond to stuff that irks me.
My point was that "double-negatives" are not constrained to "urban" cultures. Yet there you go again.

No one said they were constrained. Somebody said they were
A) Prevalent
B) Ubiquitous
C) Rampant
You pick the word that least offends.
