However, don't try to cram this stuff down my throat as fact and advocate all this cap and trade nonsense while flying all over the place in a private jet.

Your first link believes in global climate change, believes man affects global climate, and simply believes the earth also has natural cycles. It also believes the sole focus of scientists should be spread out on issues beyond greenhouse gasses, when it comes to the way man impacts the planet.

So you're main problem is some extremists think we're 100% to blame while you believe we're a different % (but still to blame)?

I guess you could say that. My main problem is with the Al Gore types in this. They have propped up junk science as some absolute.

I get a kick out of some TV stations like CNN "going green" and putting up a green logo, etc. I'm sure that helps reduce the KW per hour in the studio. A lot of people puff their chest on this issue but aren't doing anything but lining their pockets.

There are plenty of other issues that are more pressing to future generations than what the environmental whackos are trying to cram down everyone's throat. I thought we were all supposed to melt from acid rain anyway.

I think people get pissed off at Al Gore because he smoked them all so badly. He's been beating this drum for decades and all the predictions his science made...came true.

I mean, he could be really, super lucky or he could be onto something. Al Gore has been vindicated again and again over the years (with the Internet and Global Warming, specifically).

Still, I hear a lot of general complaints agout the "green" movement, but what arethe practical ones? I always hear "lotta good that'll do", "people are lining their pockets", and "there are bigger problems", but no one ever gets more specific than that. Those are just talking points from the oil companies/right that don;t get fleshed out.

I'm still trying to figure out how renewable, clean energy is going to bring our ecomony to is knees.
