Anyone who has followed the Eagles for the last 48 years (1960 championship) or from 1933 and watched this team win / lose all these years has to be an ELITIST or a fkn NUTS.

I can't stand that people can no longer do a 'Let's Go Flyers' chant without it sounding like the 'Let's Go Rangers' chant.

Hmmm...exactly how would this be accomplished? Doesn't every "Let's Go (2-syllable team name)" chant sound the same?

I mean, "LET'S go FLY-ers" sounds like "LET'S go RAN-gers."

Should it be "let's GO fly-ERS" or should the inflection be upward, as if we are collectively questioning our own commitment in "LET'S go fly-ERS?"


I am elitist because I am particular about where I place the emphasis on my syllables.

Looking over most of the other posts on this list, I'd say I'm decidedly un-elite. I drive a 9-year old American car with 167k on the odometer to work every day, I went to a state university, and I grew up in a split level on the western edge of a steel town. I like college radio, but I also have a taste for KISS and AC/DC.

The closest I came to elite was what my family used to do before Eagle games. We didn't tailgate....my mom & stepdad used to take me to the Vespers club uptown for brunch. My stepdad was never a member there, he went there a few times with his attorney and then got into the same "reserved" table on gameday because he used to grease everybody from the doorman to the guy that brought the water to the table. It was fun for a while, and I think I'd like to go back there again myself. I guess I just gotta pack enough $20s.

Talon, think of the 'Let's Go Flyers' chant as having two notes, 'A' and 'B'.

The correct way:

AABA


The incorrect way:

ABAB

I got my first stinky finger listening to Kiss while finger fkn young Denise rotten crotch.

Those were the days my amigo.

I'll bet that afterwards that finger was so pungent that it'd make your eyes water- girls like that don't know about hygiene products or washing every day for that matter

Actually, I didn't wash that finger or my thumb for days.

It was a hot, steamy, night in July when a young “section” got his first taste / smell of poontang. We were listening to Meatloaf (Bat out of Hell).

I smelled those "sticky fingers" for days until she came around for more. And she came many times.

What's funny was that girl messed around with me all through HS. She went with me to my senior prom.

Her Pops was my 8th grade Social Studies teacher. He still works in AC as a life guard and is the oldest life guard in AC today. His oldest son is a LG too except he is a dill doe. Pops was/is a great man and cool as hell.

I go down to the AC beaches every few years and say "HI" to Pops but I never ask about his daughter. I f*d around with his other younger daughter as well but never got past 2nd base. She has her own salon now and makes big $$$$$. Wanted to F her brains out but….

Last I heard from my high school buddy was my prom date got married, got chubby, and had a few bambinos.

Wish I could bang her again for old time sake.
