My job sucks in so many ways, Ive considered compiling something akin to my alphabetical "who would you like to punch" list.

Since my job is sitting on the porch and sucking all your tax dollars in the form of "welfare"- I can't say I have any complaints. Other than the benefits suck.

I've had the same job since 1980. The United States Air Force.

Have to say the USAF has been great to me, even now that I'm an old fart knocker.

I've got to travel all over the world and meet many wonderful people. The hottest chick I ever banged I met in the USAF. That woman was the love of my life. WHAT A PIECE OF ASS... When I first came in 80 there weren't really any woman except stray ugly dogs but boy has that changed over the last 28 years.

Some of my bosses have been dickwads but for the most part it has been the experience of a life time.

I even went to the sandbox (UAE/Kuwait) a few times and got a greater appreciation for our wonderful country.

Nothing like walking around in an Arab country and being the only white boy on the street in civilian clothes. You could feel those fucks staring right through your bones. If you have money and want to deal they love you to death. If your just looking at thier shit you mys well be a fkn dog.

Also got to see Europe and almost all of the US except for the Pacific Northwest.

The only thing that does suck about my job is the fkers who politic their way to the top.

I've seen people work their tales off and just got more work piled upon them and NEVER get promoted. Completely and totally fked OVER. And I've seen swinging dicks who do nothing but politic with the big pricks do ZERO work and get promoted. These kind of people sicken me and should die a slow painful death. I'm sure this happens in the private sector as well.

The other thing that blows donkey nuts is OFFICERS who break the code of conduct or the law get protected and serve no time but get their fkn pensions and retire like nothing happened.

If an enlisted pup did that shit he would be sent to Leavenworth prison for 7 years scrubbing toilets and cleaning gum off the fkn sidewalks. DOUBLE STANDARD there my friends and BULLSHIT. Seen that happen a shitload of times in my career.

Nothing like a former tech or nurse telling me why a "process" failed from an "operations" standpoint. Do they all take a course in administrator lingo? Sweet jebus.

They walk around with the obligatory "up your ass"
notepad taking copious notes on what really amounts to nothing. As for meetings, they just mean I have to see more patients, faster before (come in earlier) and/or after those meetings. I hate listening to people drone on about a topic that could be summarized in 3 sentences or less. Further exacerbating my dislike is the fact that almost every admin clown has at least 20 lbs of excess weight. What do all of their meetings have? Snacks, finger food, bagels, fruit, sodas, juice, etc.

My colleague in a moment of rage once told an administrator, "my work pays for you to walk around in a suit, in an air-conditioned building with a nice office (nicer than mine) telling me how to do a job I've performed exceptionally for more than 10 years, so shut the fuck up and listen to what I have to say"....the flabbergasted look that painted her face was priceless. I'd contemplated saying things like that but hold fire just in case.

Oh, I also hate when colleagues adopt the pompous language of mutated Brittish units of measurement and languid flourishes to embellish their speech. There is no Sauntameter. It is centi (sen-t?) meter.

Now, other than inherent, impossible to alter inefficiencies, I love the actual work that I do. Just don't understand why we run things as if we have to reinvent the wheel every freakin' day.

My old boss back in the early 90s was a total load. He looked like and acted like Mr. Burns from the Simpson's. He drank tons of coffee, smoked cigs and his breath could knock a buzzard off a shit wagon. You could not get within 10 feet of him without smelling his rotten gingivitis gums. Anyway that didn't make him morally corrupt but it just added to his assholiness.

This guy was a Full Bird Colonel and he considered himself to be somewhat of a ladies’ man. However most of the ladies that dated him had nothing but disgust and anger towards him after their nights out on the town. And it wasn’t just because his breath smelled like a big shit that just took a little shit. Word had it that the Colonel didn't know the word "NO" and he was a tad too bit aggressive during some of his dates.

Shortly there after the Colonel was put on probation for conduct unbecoming of an Officer because of several complaints from his lady friends and charges of date rape. That didn't faze him though.

He also liked to date chicks half his age. He decided one night to take out a young First Lieutenant not knowing her father was a 4 star General who worked in the Pentagon.

That night the old snaggle toothed Colonel got a little too aggressive and tried to fuck the young Lieutenant against her will.

He was charged with date rape again and the 4 star General made sure that the ole Colonel was going to pay for traumatizing his young daughter.

Now you would think that would have got the Colonel in some hot water and time in Leavenworth prison. Instead he lost his command and was sent to a HQ building where he finished out the last year of his career and retired with full pay. They stuck his sorry ass in a back office out of sight when he should have been in prision getting butt fucked.

If an enlisted dude would have done that shit they would have hung him from his ball sack upside down on the base flag pole after he was tarred and feathered.

So to answer your question the OLD Colonel was certainly a creepy, morally corrupt fuck.

Flesh, if you majored in biochemistry and had a minor in physiology; you'd count undergrad too. But you are right, probably nobody would count it.

Don't recall who just posted this, but I've worked with people who are ethically in the wrong. Very hard to report that. Hard to see their patients and the complications that resulted from the care of said individuals.

Ah, yet another section story.

Imagine an episode out of "The Office" with this storyline:

Imagine a guy who beat a SH/R (do the math) rap on three different occasions, with actual proof of the last incident in video format. Now, imagine in every single case, someone stepped in for him while he maintained innocence, and was still allowed to keep his place of employment. AND his significant other.

Now imagine said guy costing the company 6 figures because they had to settle out of court with his last infraction, while keeping everything hush-hush. And also imagine everyone in the company having to go to training because of his (and a couple other people's) transgressions. But the guy keeps his job, in the same spot, with the same pay (probably minus the amount paid off).

One more thing - imagine Dwight or someone like that who was cool with his sig. other (personally) and him (professionally), but said nothing while the stuff was going on, because said individual didn't want to get involved and used the "plausible deniability" defense.

With one of the SH/R cases, one of the women who endured the worst part of it gets paid hush money by the guy's "brothers".
