She's cooking in the kitchen and music is on the stereo. I'd be allowed to watch the Phils on mute but other than that, no TV. Computer is OK while she's cooking.

By the way, grilled flank steak and shrimp w/ clarified butter, corn on the cob and asparagus for dinner. I got it good.

She really calls the shots there eh? At least on Saturday nites?

Not so bad tho, i mean a) its designated "couples time" which is good and b) she's cookin as you chill with some tunes and alchohol.

Honestly, if the Phils aren't on there's no reason to put the telly on in the summer. So it's all good.

FanEffinTastic channel.

Nothin but concerts,unpluggeds,recording sessions,all very very good stuff.

But i agree that TV in general is garbage.

It's, shall we say, OK.

Basically a mixture of MTV and VH1, yes?

Nothing really too cool, on the cutting edge. If I wanna see Bruce Springsteen Storytellers, this is the channel for me. For the type fo musical performances I wanna see, I need to look elsewhere.

Not to put it down. From what I've seen on there, the camera work is beautiful, and they have a keen sense of editing. Just when I'm checking out "the guide" and see what's on, nothing too exciting. I do have Radiohead's "the basement sessions" and a Ryan Adams "Live Set" (what a douche) saved on the DVR and like them a lot. But I wish there was a channel that was a little more daring than MHD to get my jones.

I actually enjoyed Nat Geo's music hours. They get music from all over the world. Pretty cool shit that I would probably not hear searching by my lonesome.

Wow. Ive never thought they showed stuff like The Boss.

Ive caught old stuff too- like an Echo & The Bunnymen 2 part concert from like 83 that was fantastic, some old peel session type stuff from some bands, i dunno- i surely dont watch the mainstream stuff necesarily (Tho the Radiohead "From the Basement" was very good).


I just like havin the option to check out some music when there's crap on TV that i may not otherwise think to listen to, let alone watch.
