The drinking age should be left up to the states, not mandated by the federal government by withholding of a percentage highway/transportation money.

The problem with leaving it to the states is you get situations (Like we used to have here) where 1 state is 21 and the neighboring state is 18.

I do however think it's pretty silly that if you are 18, you are old enough to vote, fight in a war, act in a porno movie, but not old enough to have a beer.

Too many idiots out there can't handle their booze as it is and are shitty drivers before they take one sip of a wine cooler. Out for opening up the field. Leave it where it is and F the College Presidents that signed off on that petition. At the same time, however F MADD for telling people they should be scared to send their kid to a school where one of those cats Presides.

Legalize weed and leave the drinkign age at 21. It makes a lot more sense.

Weed will never be legalized. Too many people making too much money in the false war on drugs to let that happen.
