All depends on which types of slop you prefer.

That said, I'm a little surprised you don't know who Jon and Kate are. I've seen probably 3 episodes of their show (my wife DVRs the hell out of it), but they've been on TV for years, were a national media sensation when the kids were born, were on Oprah more than once, they've written books, etc., etc., etc.

I mean, they weren't nearly this mainstream a year ago, but they've been around.

Regarding Jon and Kate, their upcoming and seemingly unavoidable divorce definitely belongs in this thread.

My wife LOVES that show, or at least used to. Last night, for the first time ever, she actually shrugged at 9:00 when I asked her if she wanted me to flip over to it from the Tigers game. We eventually did but the blase reaction was unprecedented. I think even she is put off by the possible divorce. I do like to tell her that she helped cause it though by making them celebrities and therefore drumming up the papparazzi.

Yes, GGB , thanks to the federal government (much to BMA's dismay).

I think cable and DVR and would be one of the toughest things for me to give up.

I don't go out to many movies, rent many movies, etc. and my bloated cable/DVR package is pretty much my only form of entertainment expense other than drinking and things like that.
