"The Adjustment Bureau" - maybe the most absurd movie I've seen in my life plot-wise.
Always love it when a movie hinges on completely chance meetings between two people on three separate occasions in New York City.

it actually wasnt brutal
nothing like the original- totally dif. storyline.
the apes looked really well done.
The scene where they're taking on the Cops and rioting was very very realistic looking.

Least outrageous plot line in the movie.

I'd recommend Momeyball
It's a great heartwarming tale of how an underdog no one gave a chance to managed to scrap his way to one playoff series win in 12 years while becoming a hero to CPAs everywhere.

I didn't think Source Code was bad, but if you spend any time at all thinking about it, it's just absurd. The actual movie, though, I thought was entertaining.
Honestly, it made as much or sense scientifically as Inception, but I've been grading everything on a curve lately. It seems like there's not much out there significantly better than a rom-com starring Jenifer Aniston, sadly.

Joe Banner reviewed the movie on rottentomatoes.com and gave it 9 boners out of a possible 10 boners.
RAJ also reviewed it, but the entire article was just a picture of him of him arrogantly power-staring the reader.

Which actor is going to play the underhand pitcher that the book spent an entire chapter on discussing underhanders as the most undervalued pitchers in baseball?

I'm not quite sure the point here. If someone is arguing that the concepts in Moneyball are not valid then they should consider Gradwork at Pitt and start reading Tim Wise.

So your point is that, stats used to make the A's a playoff club that could not win a World Series despite a small payroll, and used by a big market club (Red Sox) to win 2 World Series are "valid to a point but not gospel".
Ok, terrific. I am headed to math class with Professor_Barnett.

And didn't they sign Moneyball legends/bums JD Drew and Dice-K to huge contracts?

So your point is that a baseball stat is not an infallible measure of a players value and that players might actually decline or regress towards an unforeseen mean?

Yeah, I'd say roids, mostly. They moneyballed Ortiz, Manny, Schilling, Pedro, and Beckett into a couple championships.

How roided up was that A's squad too?
Coincidence that BALCO was right there in the neighborhood?
