While this isn't the Flyer thread, I've been skeptical of him before he got old and moreso after he got old.

If he is productive, I'm fine with it. If he is going to be a bitch, then its a problem.

What is Jagr is is an independent guy playing a drone's game. 99% of athletes would be garbagemen if they weren't into sports. Jagr's actually got something under that ex-mullet of his. Call that soft if you want.

And the fag rep is unwarranted to the extent that he's 240 lbs of brick shithouse and looks 29 rather than 39. He doesn't hit or fight, sure. Not his job. But I guarantee he puts in more time at the gym and the rink then 90% of the drunks in pro hockey.

And ask the Rangers about his "bitch" rep. He was a great captain for em even though their team kinda blew. Ridiculous numbers with little support

let's get back on track. i woke up to this gem: "A best friend doesn't care when you're broke, being a bitch, what you weigh, if you don't see them for months, if your house is a mess, what you drive, about your past, or if your family is filled with crazy people. Your conversations pick up where they left off - even if they have been months apart. Re-post this if you have at least one best friend, they will know who they are"

this thread has opened my eyes to the fact that the facebook status update has become the replacement for the sad sacks who used to forward chain emails before it became completely faux pas.

"I played football and there was a gay high school teacher who took me under his wings and told me that I needed education to go along with football. From that gay teacher, I got a good grade, I got to use his car, I got ten dollars and I got my dick sucked. That is not gay, that is surviving."

The rest of the world, however, hates this shit and will likely judge you for it. So if you have 500+ Facebook "friends", like a lot of the people who post this stuff--there's a better than 99% chance you just accumulated another strike. UGH.

Almost 100k in back pay?

For those of you who missed my post earlier & missing some of your game updates i'm posting the instructions again.;
"FB is it at it again...and you may notice you are not seeing much in your feed from our beloved games, here's how to fix it;
First navigate to your profile (upper right hand corner of your screen, click on your profile pic)
Once you are o...n your profile, scroll down below the profile picture on the right, and select the option below for subscriptions
To the right you see a box with a small header that says "Public Subscriptions. Friend Subscriptions-Click on the Friends option
It brings up a list of all of your friends- to the right of each one there is a subscribed button, click it and select the rate of updates you would like to see, if they are a player for any of your games you are going to want to select all updates.
You can then un-select any type of activity you don't want to see. (i.e. you only want to see their game feed , then uncheck everything else)
And there you have it, annoying and tedious....but done..."

No, I didn't miss your instructions earlier, I blocked it along with your games requests.

Yesterday:
thinks the world would be a kinder, gentler, and better place if more people were able to stay open, be driven by love v. fear, and focused on opporunities v. obstacles. That's my philosophy and I'm sticking to it (while of course remaining open to the possibility that that viewpoint could change).

Same person today

Slices of bright blue sky shining through otherwise gray skys. Bright white clouds overlapping and gray clouds. And a ray of bright sunshine suddenly appearing and shing through it all. The sky right now seems like a perfect metaphor for life at times.

I can't believe I once allowed this chick have my penis inside her.

Dino, the crazy ones are always the best in bed. No shame dude.

Also, from the same genius who I posted above, this little gem. Shit, it must be 1996 all over again...

ATTENTION PLEASE: Anyone-using Internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on. This information arrived this morning, Direct from both Microsoft and Norton. Please send it to everybody you know who has Access to the Internet. You may receive an apparently harmless e-mail titled "Here you have it". If you open the file, a message will appear on your screen saying: 'It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful, f*** you and die....' Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC. And the person who sent it to you will gain access to your Name, e-mail and password, etc. This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the antivirus software's are not capable of destroying it. ... The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself 'life owner'. PLEASE SEND A COPY OF THIS E-MAIL TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS, And ask them to PASS IT ON IMMEDIATELY

Speaking of that Zak, I've seen the 'sent from my iPhone/Blackberry' etc before, but has anyone seen 'Sent from my Windows Phone'? I got a good laugh out of that the first time that came in. Specifically because you can turn that feature off.

i think it's good to leave that feature on. you want people (at least professional colleagues/clients) to know why the message is short and not crafted as well as a normal email would be.

Here's a way out. Mix ammonia and bleach and inhale. This is stuff that people really don't want to know.

It's hard to explain to someone who has no clue. It's a daily struggle being in pain or feeling sick on the inside while you look fine on the outside. Please put this as your status for at least 1 hour if you or someone you know has an invisible illness (PTSD, Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Diabetes, LUPUS, Fibromyalgia, MS, ME, Arthritis, Cancer, Heart Disease, Epilepsy, Autism, M.D. etc.) Never judge what you don't understand

and some of those examples are pretty effing visible.

There are mountains we all must climb in life. Many of us want to give our mountain a personality, view it as a living thing, so we can blame it for our pain. But make no mistake, the mountain is an inanimate pile of rocks that we willingly decide to traverse. You can't argue with a rock: Remember that the decision to climb, to reap the rewards or suffer the consequences, is all ours.
