Sixers were 20-9 on Feb 14th, since then they have gone 9-16.

Of course if I bet against them they'll win and cover, especially when the play the Celtics.

Sixers are in freefall, and yet I wonder how much worse they would've been had they tried to get Howard, who (based on a report) called the Magic owner DURING A GAME to complain that he would no longer play for coach Stan Van Gundy.

Words cannot express how incredibly dumb and immature this is, if true.

Lou will opt out and become a UFA. I'd say he has 7 games left in a Sixers uniform.

Lincoln for the long three.

Seven games left? Wow, really? I'm seeing four games left, maybe five.

What a crybaby.

Depressed Fan has a nice breakdown of the upcoming series. I like this guy's blog. He always finds new and inventive ways to trash Spencer Hawes.

I have to say, between Kate Fagan and the aforementioned blog, we've been treated to some damn good commentary about the 76ers over the last few years.

With or without Rose Chicago is way better and I don't see this going beyond 5 games.

Turner probably starting in game 2.

Stoudamire, after last night's loss to the Heat, punches the glass on a fire extinguisher and injures himself.

Evan Turner goes on a tear, and the Sixers trounce the Bulls. Even Lavoy Allen ("from ALLEN-Town/Quakertown!") got in on the beatdown.

Yeah I know, Bulls were shooting into a thimble in the 2nd half, but still - a pleasant surprise, nonetheless.

"The offense died in the hands of homeboy Evan Turner, whose first playoff start might be his last. It might have been Turner's night, when the No. 2 overall pick from a year ago took giants steps in one glorious evening. But Turner clearly was overwhelmed by the moment; erratic and overeager as his home city booed him on every touch. He was a hindrance until midway through the third quarter.

Andre Iguodala, the All-Star and the likely Olympian, might have commanded the contest, but he played anonymously . . . unless he was giving the ball away, shooting airballs or, later in the game, dunking on the break."

What an unbelievable jackass.

BTW, I find it kind of funny that WIP (for entertainment purposes only......YES I'LL USE THAT B/C I HAVEN'T USED IT IN A WHILE SO FORGET YOU) touted in February that they were the home for all 4 Philly sports, then watched as the Flyers and Sixers bolted for 97.5 three months later

The first comment on Smallwood's article today:

Game 1 of the 2001 NBA Finals lives in NBA lore because of the underdog scenario. The Lakers were undefeated in the playoffs, looked invincible with the Zen Master commanding his troops. Then at their place, Allen Iverson the MVP, the little shooting guard from Hampton Virginia, single handily WILLS his team to win. It remains the greatest live sporting event I ever watched. If that doesn't win doesn't make you believe anything is possible, I don't know what will. Maybe watch 4th and 26. Lol

Yes Bass, guess we can shelve those "FOUR FOR FOUR RADIO" ads.

Huge egg on WIPs face.

The Better sports station in town (EXCEPT when Bruno is on- awful) took Flyers and, well Sixers too , but still- kinda pulled a good juke on WIP.
