Anyone catch the Dateline interview with him before the game last night?

He comes off like a spoiled 7 year old.

"Donovan called me a name. I'm a man. You can't talk to me that way."

"Andy told me to shut up. I just had to tell him to shut up."

Yawn.

Sandy Vagina TO is yesterday's news. Having interviews with him and trying to make it a "story" is just plain retarded.

The good news is that if people keep bringing this up with TO, he'll probably do it again in Dallas.

I watched little bits and pieces of the interview, but the best part was when he was asked about telling Reid to shutup. He was adamant that he had the right to tell his coach, the authority figure, to shut up because men should behave toward each other with respect. Even discounting the fact that he was a subordinate to Reid, we all know that two wrongs make a right.

I just hope that we get to see this drama unfold with Parcells during a game. Parcells will go ballistic.

I think it will be fun either way, uber. If the rehash on the last year continues, he sells more books and will feel the need to top himself. If the press dries up a bit, he'll feel the need to do something crazy to sell more books and feed his ego.

And if the Cowboys open the season with a few losses?

Even better.

I'll admit that I clicked over to the Dateline website to skim the "extended interview" they mentioned on the show. It was tripe, but I will give T.O. partial credit for avoiding the softball landmine question of which defense will be the softest one he'll face this year.

Give it a few more weeks until he comments on it and names a few teams.

In all fairness, someone who was trying to show his displeasure with me by using a whole bunch of "gosh darnits" and "gee wilikers" and "dagnabits" might get a "Shut the hell up" outta me too (maybe a backhanded bitch slap for good measure?).

But then again, I wannabe...

The best thing the Eagles could do about the TO situation now is to just shut up, play football, and beat the Cowboys twice. Everything else will work itself out.

Wait, it could be better...beat the Cowboys 3x this year (once in the playoffs) and go on to win the superbowl...or something...meh.

We need a minimum of six threads on the Freddie Mitchell workout.

Mitchell, a friend and former teammate of Terrell Owens in Philadelphia, was given a tryout at Mitchell's request, but the Cowboys are not expected to sign him in the near future, a source told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

He was given a try-out at his own request??? The man can schmooze!

I just heard on ESPN Radio that Parcells announced Owens will miss the entire pre-season with his hammy injury.

That means he'll be learning the new playbook and getting his timing down with Beldsoe entirely during live game action.

Very interesting as this could help with my prediction that Reggie Brown could finish the season with as many or more grabs than Owens this year.

I'm not disagreeing with your prediction, FD. That's a real possibility. BUT Reggie will be nowhere close to TO in yardage or TDs. Just sayin ... (what you probably already know)

I agree...

BTW, Dan Patrick just said they screwed up the report on Owens and they only announced him definitely missing the pre-season OPENER.

The scales of public opinion of TO VS McNabb seem to be evening out. Basically TO's trying to sell books and McNabb is trying to move on from the garbage soap opera.

In the end, the shallow masses will decide who was the more noble of the two by wins and losses/ success and failure...because no likes a loser and everyone loves winner.

Not to be fickle, but that statemnent is slightly erroneous. Americans love a winner, that's for sure. However, in my experience, many Fenchmen and Belgians like the loser a whole lot more.

Who cares? The very first line in the description of Bleeds says "Anything goes here..."

Quit whining, and quit proofreading my posts, I DON'T LIKE IT

Figured we could bust out this thread with some updates.

Obviously, T.O. has been banged up and is off to a slow start, but last night was the first sign he's ready to blow.

- Everyone saw his nonsense on the sidelines, which brought a tear to my eye. Not everything they showed was what they were making it out to be, but Vanderjagt trying to counsel him and the coaches eventually completely ignoring him while he's yelling "Are you kidding me?" on his way to sit by himself on the bench? Looked very close to that blowup he had in SF on the sidelines.

- That was followed by dropped passes and alligator arms.

- According to the AP, "an animated T.O. was yelling and asking why the Cowboys bothered signing him in the offseason." on his way into the locker room.

- Anyone catch his post game press conference? I will have to grab the exact quotes, but he basically said he was open all night there were plenty of plays to be made, but Bledsoe let them down by not making the plays.

- T.O. met with Jerry Jones after the game and Jerry made a comment to the media that they should have fed him the ball more.

Anyone else have any fun T.O. memories from last night or the the mornign after?

I agreed with mostly everything T.O. was to have reported to have said. As for the sideline pouting, you get what you get.
Bledsoe was HORRIBLE though, and so was their playcalling, looking at it objectively. If they weren't going to throw to him, why DID they bother signing him? It's a legitmate question.
