Talon, the big team among my players is the Bucs. I've got 3 current players and one old head that are big fans. The old head, Uno, even has a Bucs tattoo. Unfortunately, it's the old "Bruce the Buc" in that wonderful orange and dark orange color scheme.

I've got a Texan fan, a Raider fan, 49ers, Rams, Jets, Dolphins, Falcons and even 1 Iggles fan, though I think he's just sucking up to me for playing time.

Most of the guys follow NCAA Football. They can watch the games on NASN, and since we play by NCAA rules, they feel like the College players.

Which is kind of like Hillary Clinton feeling like Angelina Jolie. Technically there both women, but Bill only wants to fuck one of them.

Talon,

I know the NFL has a sizeable following in the UK. It has built up over the years since Channel 4 used to broadcast games in the late 80's. Now it's on SkySports and they broadcast two games live every Sunday, at least, plus all of the playoffs.

During the US commercial breaks, the go back to the studio for the local colour commentary (brutal the vast majority of the time, b.t.w.) and sometimes read e-mails from the audience. It appears that virtually every team has some kind of following, though I wouldn't be able to tell you which is the largest.

You can check out nfluk.com for UK competitions related to the NFL. I never really looked at that site for any length of time, to be honest.

It is rare to see Brits with NFL-related gear on the streets (there are a few American tourists) and I generally get a few sniggers whenever I mention "American football" at work.
