Fear not, guys, I've placed a retainer on a certain lawyer I know. He says you're in for quite a battle, but in the end it'll all be OK.

What kind of piece of shit talks about somebody's kid like that? I'd love to see tough-guy Sly's reaction if anyone mentioned his daughter (?) Miserable prick.

Thus ends Daddysly's hope for a big payday.

I guess you'll be taking that "For Sale" sign out of the old trailer window now, eh Sly?

"What kind of piece of shit talks about somebody's kid like that?"

This is the same guy who made fun of someone's mother about the fact that she was sick with cancer at the time. Put nothing past him. He is a racist, loser, friendless creep. Just when you think he can't go lower, he finds a way to do it.

Sly,

A few things. The first is that I don't appreciate your attempt to insult everyone's intelligence with such a naked lie. We all know that sly = WallyGator = Jughead = all the other foul-mouthed, racist jerks that visit our site. Just stop. No one's going to believe that and it demeans you and us. We all know that I can prove it.

The next thing is that I had dinner with my lawyer last night, and I believe that we're in the clear. I don't think you'll be able to shut this site down. Even if you did, 701Level.com is probably available.

Now here's where we see what you're made of. If the images of you on the site are what's really on your mind, I'll delete them. I'll delete them all from this thread and I'll check other threads for those pictures and I'll delete them from there. In return, I don't ever want to hear from you on this site again. I've found most, if not all, of your alternate screen names and either shut them down or am monitoring them on my own. Don't play stupid and try to trick me. It might work, but it won't work for long.

This isn't about who's smarter. I know you're a smart guy, you just choose to use that intelligence for different things that I do. That's fine, and it's your decision. However, I wrote this site, I wrote the forums, and I wrote the database that everything goes into and I can see anything I need to see. The deck is heavily stacked against you if you try to trick me. Eaglegurl knows this. He still thinks that he's smarter than me, and maybe he is, but he also knows that he's not the one with home field advantage here. I know you've been in touch with him, so ask him yourself.

I've been expecting you to pull something like this for a long time, sly, and things are in motion here. I'm giving you a chance to stop them before this gets really ugly. No one admits that they're wrong, no one loses. You get what you want, and I get what I want.

You can even email me if you want. Use one of the email addresses you used before and I'll know it's you. No one but me will ever see that email.

Time's yours.

It's no shocker, really, that he's gone this route.

I mean, he cries 'poor me', but it needs to be said that:

a) Originally, I kept my mouth shut about the entire SB party cos I figured he was embarrassed and why dig it up, he had up to that point and til a while after, remained civil.

b) he suddenly got a burr up his butt and decided to revert to form, FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER other than taking umbrage at some folks not seeing things he'd say as 'funny'.

c) He continued to sink and had been rippin the wife for months, and I continued to never do the same, to the amazement of some here. Only after I get home from some Xmas shoppin and read that my stepson is now a target, did i fire off anything ("Mrs. Foul Mouth", I believe, & I stand by it).

This is what he is.

He cannot help himself.

He doesnt know HOW to act, HOW to get along with others and this is evident, and apparently even within his own family.

Yet he would rather stay here & aggitate, then cry at the retaliation where all anyone honestly wanted after a while was for him to just disapear.

It's brutal.

NOTE TO SLY: IF YOU DO NOT LIKE HOW THE FOLKS COME OUTTA THE WOODWORK TO LAUGH AT YOU- a) Think why so many took some enjoyment from the latest set of events and then b) JUST BE GONE!~ POOF POW! If I hated everyone here as much as you say you do, I think I'd just take the hint and do myself a favor.

a win/win for all.

Merry Christmas, Scott Farkus.

I would just like to send a tip of the cap to Airborne Eagle, who despite a long abscence from the site, evidently returned and pulled a "Kirk Gibson" and got that picture up here to pull back the curtain on the great and powerful Oz

Already been said, but a couple legal facts for dsly's benefit:

Libel and defamation suits are hard to prove, and even harder to win. Because of that they are expensive and costly to fight. I don't know your cash flow situation, but even if your case held water (which any lawyer worth his salt will tell you it doesn't) I doubt you (or most of us for that matter) have the financial wherewithal to see the matter through to its conclusion.

Since this is a not-for-profit web site (based largely on anonymity, with a select audience that has clearly articulated rule sof conduct) it will be nearly impossible to even argue in a court that your name was tarnished b/c of a likeness of you (photographed at a venue where you were a guest, with your knowledge) was posted on a message board with a limited audience.

Even after looking at that picture I wouldn't be able to pick you out in a crowd (you were wearing sunglasses for cripes sake).

And even if you did win (which would never happen), what kind of punitive and compensatory damages do you expect to get for the injury this site has allegedly caused you and yours?

Some Zubaz? A free T-shirt?

Do you see my point, there is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow to collect.

This is a free site with a very specific, largely anonymous, audience. I'd say the majority of the folks on the level don't even know your real name or where you live.

Personal injury lawyers are looking for someone with deep pockets (like insurance companies) to sue. This site doesn't fit that description. You have no injury claim, case closed.

I think it was the "Order to Shutdown" that had him licking his chops. And Uber pretty much already answered that the way I figured he would.

I still check the site once in awhile and this is indeed a great thread.

DSly, it's not that hard to just walk away from this site and quit posting. I did it after Uber exposed me and my "pals" (multiple screen names) in a thread. The message being that he wanted me to leave, so I left. The end. And I haven't posted since then, until now. That's all ... it's nothing to get so worked up about man, life is too short. Just my opinion.

This site is about the Birds, the humor, and disagreements while remaining relatively civil. Sounds like you can't handle that.

Happy holidays to all and screw Dallas.
Go Birds.

If Mrs. Sly sliced the jersey right down the front and put buttons on it she could wear it as a housecoat. Though, unlike the "Man" of the house, it might be above mid-calf length.
