the Good: I'm watching the game poolside from sunny Florida (a great place to spend New Years) . . . Hanson rose to the occassion on several key plays, both in the first half and on the fourth quarter goal line stand . . . the youngins and backups who contributed -- baskett, chompers, scho-boat, moats, gaither, mccoy, avant andespecially AJ, who put togehter a nice stat line in relief.

the Bad: Sean Consindin'e two bonehad penalties in the first half, Moats, Tapeh and Buck each looking gimpy at moments . . . one of the few sightings of Bunkley making a play this season (let's hope it's true that it takes D-lineman 2 seasons to really develop)

the Ugly: Reno "crab fries" Mahe's fumble and Jeff Garcia's cheesy ESPn pre-game interview.

Nice showing by the backups today. AJ looked good, and it was great to see Basket have success and gain confidence. Gaither..nice job...13 tackles...and Considine....all over the ball...good stuff!

No kidding about Considine...it took him 4 tries to get his first careet INT. Not knocking the guy or anything, but I chuckled a little bit when he finally picked one off. You know he's catching some shit in the locker room about that.

just to keep the facts straight, mcnabb's dance was for TV only, he was not on the fanavision inside the stadium. was there, and then came home at 3am and watched the first half again on DVR. yes, i have no life.

That was actually the highlight of the game for me.

His timing and material were top notch (as always)!
