Jimmy Johnson on the pregame show said since Neckbeard is holding, it invokes that weird QB subsititution rule F-D periodically mentions. So I guess if Jeffy goes down AJ can't come in, Koy has to. And if AJ comes in then Garcia can't come back.

Is that right?

I'm not sure about the rule but I think that's the way it works and I think that's the way F-D and others ahve explained it on the level in the past.

Yeah, this game scares me too, though I'm hoping for the best. I know the Birds can win this game, problem is I also know they could lose it if the Giants step up.

I'm half optimistic/half nervous. (probably because I'm sick and can't really drink right now) I think it would be great for the Ealges D to make an early stop and for the Eagles offense to start with a long drive ending in a TD.

This is one ugly effing start for this game. The Eagles, Giants, and officials are all starting off sloppy.

Really, this is bothering the hell out of me.

Absolutely the worst possible way for this game to start for the Eagles. The run defense can't stop anything, and could Plaxico have been covered any worse on the TD? Midget Sheppard was 5 yards away, and his inside help was Gaither. Not confidence inspiring at all.

They penalize from the spot of the hold. Therefore if the hold took place 9 yards down the field, it becomes 1st and 11.

Why the fuck didn't Mahe either pick that up earlier or commit to letting it go out of bounds? Fucking horrible start...just HORRIBLE!
