Say what?? Now there's a reward for making the probowl 2 years out of 3: You lose your spot as a starter. I think Banner should have written that in the "sucker" deal they signed last year to really make it a "sucker" deal. Seriously, no way Eagles even win the division had Lito not made 2 game changing interceptions this season. And I was one of those calling him Litoast last season when Terry Glenn all but owned him but it's clear now that he was in a sophomore slump and that he's a good corner. Hood is gone after this season. No way Eagles can bring him back for the kind of money they're willing to give. I think they're ok with Will James and Joselio Hanson.
Have Gocong compete with Bowtie and trade for a linebacker if he cant beat him out easily. Also need an upgrade in the puntreturn game in the worst way. That skieer should be back from whatever injury it was so no more Mahe please. Would love to have Garcia back but i think Eagles are ok with Feely as backup and can get a third qb in the draft.

And I feel like I'm watching a different Considine than everyone. I see a guy that is at least a step slow on every play and bounces off people instead of trying to tackle them.
Glad I'm not the only one.
He's many things, but his tackling can be quite inconsistent.
He's OK. Nothing more, just OK. Let's not annoint him the heir apparant, considering his predecessor fell from his lofty perch to make way for him.

By and large, I agree with KB about Considine.
That being said, at least he acknowledges he needs to bulk up and stop tackling like a rubber ball next year:
"I've got to put some weight back on," said Considine, who wasn't able to do much strength training last offseason because he was recovering from shoulder surgery. "It cost me. I'm not going to be able to do what I want to do at 198 pounds."

I thought I was missing something about Considine. He is scrappy and a gamer, but appears slow and is NOT a sure tackler. He needs to learn to wrap up the ball carrier, not just try to deliver a shoulder hit.
