Maybe it was just catnip?

Perhaps...the stickiest, most legendary strain of "Nip" ever created. Ron's cats get nothing but the best!

I got my cat a toy one time, and it came with a baggie of catnip. I had to keep it away from the asshole, or he would go nuts all the time. So, I put it in one of my dresser drawers.

A week later, my girlfriend is folding laundry, and is putting some shirts away, and came upon this baggie. She thought I was secretly smoking a ton behind her back.

It's so funny, though. Vick is caught carrying a device used to hide weed. There is residue and a substance in it. They say it's not weed. This is like being caught with a bowl with residue in it, isn't it?

I think PFT might have a good take on the charges being dropped, with the possibility of doubt when it comes to an employee fishing out the exact water bottle after vick tossed it in the trash can.

Weak, sure. But enough money can back this crap up.

Now, if Vick's finger prints were on it, that seems to kill the counter-argument to me. But both sides will jump at the chance to let "reasonable doubt" kill any further investigation.

Where there ever charges filed?

I mean, they found a water bottle in the garbage that smalled like weed after his flight took off.

I always figured it was something that couldn't ever pin on him, but the court of public opinion would do what it does best.

Vick's great. Gotta love the "it's jewelry and the police framed me/stole the jewelry" argument 2 months after the fact.

C'mon FD. When you're stoned, it's hard enough to find the TV remote let alone a plausible story.
