You're right there. When he was awarded the MVP trophy, I think we all realized history was being written by ESPN and the rest of the tabloid sports journalism in this country anyway.

Some of these Manning stats are hilarious.

- First QB in NFL history to throw twice as many INTs as TD in the post season and win a Super Bowl.

- Dallas Clark is the first TE to lead the post season in receiving yards since 1962.

- Joseph Addai is the first running back to lead the post eason receivers in receptions in like 50 years.

FB must be making sexy time in his pants. Manning dink and dunked his way to a championship with the worst statistical post seasons QB performance in history (for a super bowl winning QB).

It will all be forgotten, but just wanted to add this stuff as it's coming out before this topic dies forever.

I really do hope the Eagles are paying attention. when you get to the playoffs, QB play doesn't seem to be what wins it for you.

It's defense and running game...almost every year.

But Cap'n Andy will "learn" that small quick LBs wins Super Bowls.
